I couldn't be more satisfied. mink66 Posted July 17, 2015 Yes, the red visor port really sets it off. And thanks for noticing the extra detailing I added to the underbelly. I know the trap door was put there for added playability, but it takes up a lot of space and leaves no room for added structure. My 5 year old son isn't too happy about it, but I did leave the actually trap door in there and I promised him I would put it back once I snapped some pictures. No its not just you, the feet look tiny and the neck is too thin, but thats not Mink66's fault, he'd have to mod the entire model to get it in proportion. Chills Posted July 17, 2015 Overall, really nice MODs to the set. I like your use of tiles to give the walker the armored look. I like your interior, too. I joined this site because of your MOD, I was wondering if you had a list of the necessary parts and instructions to MOD a factory stock 75054 into your fantastic looking model. I'm not heavily into Lego and don't have a ton of LBG pieces, so I'd need to make a bricklink order (or 5!) Thanks and welcome to the forum! I wish I was more proficient on LDD so I could prepare some instructions and parts list, but unfortunately I'm not. I used the many great pictures Eurobricks member Maus also supplies in his Imgur albums which shows more of the internal structure and construction techniques than my pictures to build mine. Be sure to read through his posts, because again his MOD was the inspiration for my MOD! Just remember that once you get one side of the armor plating and head figured out, the other side is quite easy to construct since it is just the mirror image. If you do start to attempt this and get stuck in a certain spot, just let me know and I will try to clarify or add some additonal pictures. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Wodanis Posted July 22, 2015 I really like what you did with the head and mid section. After building the newest AT-AT (75054) I realized the design was very similar to the original AT-AT (4483). I enjoyed the fact that your design made a proper area for the Snowtroopers to stand. The only thing I would've done differently is not tiled the sides as the studs are also attractive. mink66 Posted July 26, 2015 Almost none of the head is original except for the way the sides attach. Zoom in on some of the head pictures and you can tell pretty well how viewport is constructed. I redesigned the sides of the head loosely based on the pics of the inside of the head in the other thread. Is there anyway you could post a pic of the backside of the panel on the top of the head and one of the backside of the "face"? It'd be much appreciated! Thanks!! I made a lot of unnecessary bricklink orders simply because I wasn't sure what pieces were needed. So I've got a lot of extra light bley pieces. If I had to estimate I'd say $70 to $85.
