[MOD] Guards of the Watchtower

Hi all!

A while ago my son spotted me checking out some of Derfel Cadarn's creations, more specifically the Hangman's Watch, and immediately requested that we also build one, as his "good guy" soldiers needed to use it as their home.

So, a couple of BL orders later, here is our version of Derfel Cadarn's excellent design; Guards of the Watchtower. The tower is both smaller and less detailed than the original, due to lack of bricks, but it was a very fun and educational project. And now my son's soldiers can enjoy their patrolling, raspberry juice drinking and wood chopping :)

Why is there a treasure chest in the garden you may ask? Well, my son informs me that every "castle" needs a treasure, and if you put it indoors it can't be seen. Quite true ;)

The columns were on DC's original design so I can't take any credit for that And yes, the bulk of the tree is made of technic connector elements, and then just bars at the ends to connect the leaf elements.

Round towers are a challenge - you managed extremely well (and you added this excellent round roof). Great!
