A few months later... The group had done a few jobs in the Outer Rim, but still no contact from the Alliance.

The story:

- " ... need to stop on Tatooine ... we are having a meeting there with one of the racers."

- " ... why there? It's VERY unsafe, and no good jobs there."

- "There are races in a few days... need to prevent one from participating."

- " ... Okay... but why are "we" having a meeting? Why do you need me there?"

- "The money. We are short of time and money, and you seem to have collected some savings from that hideout of yours back on Corellia. I need to pay the guy 1000 credits in advance and 5000 in two weeks. We'll have the incoming transfer in a week, but these 1000 credits are ones I worry about. We can really use your help there."

- "Besides... You're the only human face here. And these guys... um... they prefer dealing with your kind, you know."

- "If this helps the Alliance - I'm ready. Let's do that."

- "Good. I'll brief you on our assignment then. Firstly, you act as a BLACK SUN operative..."

Tatooine.

- "So... We've heard you have an offer for us."

- "Indeed. Exactly as planned."

- "Good. Then you two - take this droid of yours and these crates and block the entrance. And you - go inside, we'll talk there."

Few moments later.

- "Speak now."

- "We need you to skip this race. We are expecting lots of "unexpected" things to happen."

- "So what. The pod racing IS dangerous, in any race."

- "Fair. But not this one. Believe me. Besides, there is a compensation we can offer. 1000 now and 5000 more if you are not on the start line."

- "Hm... Come back here tomorrow. I'm not feeling well..." (winks)

Small garage on the busy street, just next to the Imperial outpost. A strange place to meet, but a very safe one.

Very cool entry! I like how there's so much going on in a busy street, just like in the movies with all different species mixed minding their own business. I especially like the gamorrean guards bringing in the slaves. I really dig the watch tower, it's a nice addition as well as the studless speeder. Well done on that one. One thing that bothers me a bit is splitting the build into two parts for no reason. There's not like a huge area between the speeder and the buildings so it might as well all be on one plate. Also the gray plates under the sand look a bit off and I'd prefer them all tan or a mixture with dark tan. And lastly, I'd suggest that next time you make the buildings slightly bigger to bring in some more realism. These look a bit chiby and are more likely in a System scale rather than proper minifig scale. But overall it's a very strong entry!

Thanks for the feedback. It is always good to have a constructive opinion and suggestions.

I've thought about larger buildings, but decided that in such case the street would be too empty. Not so sure now.

And totally agree with the base color. But sometimes the compromises have to be made.

It's all about the experience gained both during the building process and receiving the comments. In this episode I expect to have plenty of both.

This is rad - it definitely has the feel of a bustling Tatooine market. Great job on the minifig posing, and I like all the little details (like the 'gonk' droid - I didn't spot that until my second look). Good work!

Weird, I could swore I already commented on this one...

Great build with a lot going on. I like the overall market feel with the Empire presence being just right. The cool observation tower, the guards, etc. all fit in perfectly. I like the Gamorreans leading the slave girls, nice touch.

It is too bad that little orange speeder is only in the 1 picture! A really great bustling market build.
