The Spice Islands are jewels along the southern coasts of Kaphilin and are the gateway to The Great Southern Ocean. The islands vast supply of hardwoods, gems, exotic animals and plants, and of course spices, are wanted highly desired all over Historica. However, due to the political upheaval on the mainland, the islands have been more or less been isolated and left to their own devices. As a result, trade has decreased greatly, and the islands' economy is in ruin. Today, there is a chance to make a full recovery, as a Desert King official (Yes our Surveyor is back and has been promoted again), accompanied by two escorts, has paid a visit to the "Governor" of one of the islands, and has convinced him to declare independence, in exchange for a hefty amount of gold, and the promise that they will always have an abundance of trading partners and renewed prosperity.

Beautiful scene! The buildings are nice but the water, sand and dense vegetation are just lovely. I like the fact that no minifigs are visible from the front - it adds to the intrigue. Very artistic!

Well when we go into aggressive negotiations (WZ builds), you Ulandians never seem to show up for them, so we figure we'd try another tactic and get your attention. You guys seem to be good at handing out overbearing justice lol.

To everyone else-Thank you for your feedback. I hope to expand this idea into a pretty large free build later in the year. My buildings I think need some refinement, but I love the atmosphere and Summer Island type feel to it.

Absolutely wonderful build Blufiji, can't believe I've missed it until now. Love the colors here and the lush jungle environment mixed with the shoreline and those great looking buildings. The vegetation here really stands out, and it looks great how thick you made the jungle (but, seeing your previous builds, you really have a talent for vegetation). Great work man!

Lovely foliage and atmosphere in general

That last picture conveys an excellent feeling of the Spice Islands.

Suggestion for improvement is imho that the water is too "banded" in the different colors.

The vegetation and overall landscaping is wonderful to look at. You're really the man for depicting the wild beauty of nature. But the two buildings are in no way less impressive. I love the arches of the right tower. Damn I would love to visit that isle.
