another small update:

Finally I got dark orange hands for Admiral Ackbar. For Admiral Raddus I found a pair of old dark gray hand, which are closer to his head color:

I really love those tank troopers. Naturally i had to give them arm printing (Syndrome CMF). I also do NOT like it, when the flesh color of the head shows under closed helmets. Most of my imperial troops have the black balaclava head, but here I went with white ones with mask (from Batman I believe):

cheers!

Oh, that's a very good idea what you did with the Mon Calamari. Is the one on the far right supposed to be a Calamarian behind the controls in RotJ?

For some reason, I do always feel the Mon Calamari in Lego don't look fat enough. They don't capture the spirit of the character well enough IMO. The one in the Complete Saga game did much better I think.

Those tank troopers look quite nicer, but too bad they're less accurate. I also love the design of these minifigs. Are there any dual molded arms with Dark Bluish Grey on top? That would make a great Tank Trooper Commander!

A few updates, most for gearing up for Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka:

My Pathfinders:

Rebel Infantry:

Purist Dark Troopers:

Cheap Deathtrooper specialist and updated blasters:

Tank Trooper Commander and regular with boots and a taller Moroff:

Even though Tank Troopers have shoulder arm those arms look fabulous on them. What figure are they from?

The Raddus update is intriguing I might have to try it.

Oh I really like those rebel minifigs! The dual molded legs fit quite well. The ammo pouches seems a bit strange, they're double... ;)

Need to add the tiles to my Moroff too, thanks for the tip!

Looks neat, wish Lego made a battle pack with the Sullust troopers!

Doesn't really look the same as this-

I think part of the problem is Ackbar has more of a neck

 Gial_Ackbar_Resistance.jpg

And Raddest being a different type of Moncala seems to have a lower neck with a large jaw.

Maybe Raddus is a little fat? He's supposed to be fairly old by Rogue One so maybe that's just apart of their aging? Of course isnt Ackbar pretty old by TFA?

Yes the third is supposed to be a generic MonCalamari from RotJ. - I really wish TLG had made an armor piece with neck ring for the MonCals, I always thought they are wearing some sort of life support system under their bulky vests.

There are quite a few renditions that went with black instead of gray for the shoulders of the tank trooper commanders. I my case, they are just all commanders :-).No DBG dual mold available yet, let's hope future Collectible MInifigs will remedy that.

Beating a dead horse: many many Star Wars Minifigs would profit highly from dual molds for arms and/or legs. Admiral Ackbar, for example, would look perfect with white/dark orange arms.

Really?

Anyway, it was my impression that Admiral Raddus should be much shorter than his minifigure suggests, but maybe that's just because he's more rotund than Ackbar, and he's sitting in his chair most of the time.  According to the Rogue One Ultimate Visual Guide, which is supposedly canon, Raddus is about six feet tall, which really surprised me.

Just gave boots to my A-Wing pilot :

As plain dual molded red / black legs don't exist, I've bought Mickey's legs on BL, and I removed the printing. I could use an eraser for the white dots, but I had to use nail polish remover for the yellow shoes.

Nice! Mr Incredible's legs may have easier to remove printing and I think the Arctic Explorer CMF has plain red and black dual moulded legs.

The Arctic Explorer CMF actually has red and dark blue dual moulding.

It looks really great.

It's a shame we still haven't dual molded legs in SW while almost every character should use them

Thank you. (: I did consider using Mr Incredible's legs, but I chose Mickey's legs so I wouldn't have to swap the hips. As @Robianco said, the Artic Explorer's boots are dark blue. I think this page on Brickset shows the complete list of plain dual molded legs.

Ah. Yes those are red and dark blue. Thanks for correcting me!

Has anyone tried using the black graduate robes on Palpatine? The two bits at the front look like they would match up with the bits on Palpatine's torso and legs.

What nice improvments here !

Any idea on how make more "accurate" capes in order to have the same effect than this ?  https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/3c/f0/a6/3cf0a64e44dfe7d648ee8ae66e547be4.jpg

The Frozen Anna minidoll has a cape that drapes over the shoulders, and with some modifications you could use that as a template and cut it out on some white fabric.

I also have seen someone put the two holes from the cape in the arms and I'll post the link when I find it.

Hope this helped!

I think a Maggie torso painted brown with some decals would be good for a Jawa.
It would probably be a lot more accurate than the current short legs.

I think a maggie torso would be good for a smaller version or TESB version of Yoda

Yes, Yoda needs to get an update for the OT. We've gotten a good prequel Yoda, but he's not too good for the OT Yoda.
