rodiziorobs Posted April 21, 2015 (edited) This is a vignette I built from Thor, the scene where Thor has to destroy the Bifrost bridge in order to thwart Loki. The scene is inspired by the movie, but I built the details how I wanted, rather than try to be 100% faithful to the movie. I think it captures the look of it pretty well. I know some people don't like the stiff capes, but I do--they help hold the figure up in a way that allows for some pretty dynamic posing. C&C welcome! Nth_Brick Posted April 21, 2015 Wow, that looks great, Rodiziorobs. It isn't a big scene or anything, but it captures the feel of the movie excellently. The way you used Coruscant for the spherical part of the Bifrost has got to be the best part of it! And, yeah, the rest of the gold detailing definitely screams "Asgard!" The whole thing is awesome! Steph 104th Posted April 21, 2015 Beautiful build, the bridge looks great, another positive about Disney owning Marvel, Coruscant Bifrost!
rodiziorobs Posted April 22, 2015 Thanks for the comments! Since Thor is my favorite of the Avengers, this scene was a lot of fun to build. Beautiful build, the bridge looks great, another positive about Disney owning Marvel, Coruscant Bifrost! Every day I hope for news about the inevitable SW/Marvel + Muppets mashup. Silent Nomad Posted April 22, 2015 (edited) Very cool build. Interesting use of the elf staff sword thing for Loki's staff. Interesting choices for his head and hair as well. I like the stiff capes too. I wish Lego would include stiff and soft versions of most of the capes in the sets with caped characters so the buyers can decide which one they want to use. I'm trying to replace my Supergirl and future AoU Thor capes with the stiff versions, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to manage it for my Martian Manhunter or future Vision, which bugs me. -Nomad Edited April 22, 2015 by Silent Nomad
