I have got an affinity for parrots. :sweet:

Great!

I think the first one is a "Norwegian Blue" but I could be wrong.

Amazing: It seems you are producing one MOC per day - excellent!

Thank you very much!

I discovered Eurobrics pretty late! I actually built all the MOCs during the last years.

I want to post the old stuff rapidly, to be ready to post the new stuff!

are your build solid or hollow in the middle? i was just considering the weight and balance of these.

Thank you!

They are all hollow! Otherwise they would be too heavy and too expensive! The macaws don´t even have crossbars for the stability.

Your macaws are beautiful and very life-like. The third is my favorite but the pose of the first is very good. We need a few of these in the Pirates forum...

Really cool macaws! The colorful detail is awesome and it even holds a nut just like a parrot would.

By any chance have you had these as pets?

Thank you very much!

No, I have no parrots as pets. But I feed wild alexandrine parakeets. They wait in the tree behind the house every morning and afternoon. Then they fly to the handrail of the window and eat from the bowls. ( Well, they are punctual as if they would be pets) They are too shy to eat out of my hand, but they eat out of their own hand just like the lego macaw! :sweet:

Thank you very much!

Wow, these are great, I too love parrots, all birds really! We feed wild Rainbow Lorikeets

and Sulphur-Crested Cockatoos, both are amazing birds, the latter very intelligent!!

You've really got the heads down so well, fantastic brick work there!!

Happy building

That must be fun! Those parrots are probably less shy than the alexandrine parakeet.

I have read, that sulphur-chrested cockatoos even wait at the bus stop in order to get some food from the tourists. :classic:
