Great job with the lighting, Solscud; especially the first one. Better wipe that LEGO down before KimT sees it...

Though it's really not pure photography, you really have some great photo editing skills WampaStompa. Your 'glowing lightsaber in the dark' shots look really good, from your previous jedi shots to this one. Though on this particular picture, I don't seem to understand the intended effect of the lines(?)

Thanks for the positive comments KielDaMan, I am trialing photoshop at the moment so nearly all of my new shots have been edited :) I am sure in 14 days time you will see shots of the more purist nature :D

Dr Nightmare is right the lens flare is movie prime and the lines.... well what can i say like them or loath them there there to stay :D

Thanks again for the comments and for viewing my picture :vader:

Wow guys! Some of these shots are very very nice. :thumbup:

Solscud007, I do have a question. What did you use to light up that lightsaber?

Fiber Optic cable and surefire flashlight.

I borrowed my friend's canon and macro lens. aaagggghhhh the DUST!!!!!

Intentional or not, I actually think the dust gives a realistic 'dirty' surface effect. I would assume Carbonite Solo isn't that squeaky clean in the RoTJ right?

Both shots have epic lighting BTW. :thumbup:

I watched it this morning on BB and think it's awesome...

It's amazing! *oh2**oh2**oh2*

Already seen on Flickr.. just mindblowing

Oh I remember these. They're just amazing.

Wow that's really disappointing.

We blogged that 3 days ago on EurobricksStarWarsForum.com

:thumbdown:

No need for a blog if you guys don't use it :sceptic:

I actually do use the blog, and I saw it, that's why I said I remembered it.

Well then you're forgiven :blush::laugh:

Well then you're forgiven :blush::laugh:

Forgiven? Forgiven implies that I was the one at fault. I should be the one forgiving you. :tongue: What's that? You're the Dark Lord of Denmark? Oh, er, uh, I gratefully accept your extremely generous gift of forgiveness after my error. Please don't Force Moderate me. :cry_sad:

Okay, I'll stop. Back on topic now.

EDIT: I see I now have a title. :laugh:

Photographing Lego (especially SW Lego) gets really addictive. :laugh:

I bought the new battlepacks today and thought that the mandalorian head resembles the brilliant actor Klaus Kinski. This would explain the name of the picture. Here it is. Enjoy.

Yours is well done, Koisny. Plissken, I think yours is too yellowish, but I like the focus and composition.
