A remake of the Home One Cruiser would be very welcomed too. That's what I want for the 20th anniversary sets, but now that the Master Builder series seems to be a thing now I will share some sets I want from that line. Yavin IV would be a perfect too be made into a Master Builder's set and I think we can expect it one day. Geonosis Arena/Factory would be nice. I Starkiller Base similar to the Death Star would be amazing. The set I want the most though is a Master Builder's Jedi Temple. So many possibilities, this set would be a dream come true if it ever happens.

A Yavin IV would be an amazing 20th Anniversary set, one that was based off both A New Hope/Rogue One, much like how the UCS Millennium Falcon is based of two films. IIRC there was actually a prototype for a Yavin set that, for one reason for another, never got made. Next year would also be a good time to release it since this year’s X Wing needs a docking bay!

That's the last Luke we need to complete updating all his looks. Farmboy, Stormtrooper, X-Wing Pilot, Hoth, Medical Bay, Snowspeeder, Dagobah, Bespin, Jabba's Palace, Jedi with collar up, Jedi with collar down. If we get that we should be done (Celebration Luke still looks decent if you updated the head and hair). And those helmets are in dire need of updating. Although I'll then need 4 of them to replace all my Scouts.

To be fair we've had pretty good updates of all the main trinity in recent years. Smuggler Han, Stormtrooper Han, Hoth Han, Bespin Han, Carbon Han, Endor Han. (although we need more of those dual moulded legs now)

ANH Leia, Celebration, Hoth Leia, Bespin Leia, (MISSING ESCAPE LEIA), ANH Leia Gown (Medical Frigate), Boushh, Slave, General, Endor Maiden. So just one missing there really.

*Please let B&P list Han's legs by accident *Please let B&P list Han's legs by accident *Please let B&P list Han's legs by accident *Please let B&P list Han's legs by accident :)

Luke still has a few more costumes left to go though. We still haven't seen variants for Medical Frigate, Jedi Exile or Crait yet.

Leia also has her D'Qar, Raddus and Crait gowns in addition to Bespin Escape. Plus whatever is still to come in Episode IX.

And while Han is pretty much done for the OT, he still has the Starkiller Base costume from The Force Awakens and Numidian Prime (jacketless version of main) at the end of Solo still to go.

I'm strictly OT so that's where I'm sticking. Maybe Luke on Medical Frigate but that's not something I'm going to worry too much about.

Okay, I'm just throwing this out, how about Mos Eisley Battle Pack. It would be sort of like the Bounty Hunters Battle Pack, except it would have characters from the scene (Dr. Evazan, Ponda Baba, Garindan, Hammerhead, Snaggletooth, etc.). The build could be a Landspeeder, or a Bantha maybe?

That's what I want.  Ponda and Evazan are long overdue to me.

Tomorrow (Oct 7th) is the premiere of a new animated series, 22-episode season one of Star Wars Resistance, for which we have zero Lego leaked entirely. Unlike a three-part VR experience, this is going to be hours and hours of content for the next few years - and not a single leak for 2018 so I think it is remarkable because this year is drawing to a close and 2018 likely won't provide any more SW kits. In October 2014, Rebels premiered with heaps of The Ghost already sitting mostly unnoticed on shelves. Maybe Lego learned their lesson!

There haven't even been rumors of sets from this series that I can find... 2018 or 2019.

Does anyone know about this show?? Lol Disney. I guess we'll be talking more about the potential for Lego kits after it premieres.

It's clear from this trailer we'll be getting at least 5 heroes and their starfighters and they will have lots of COLOR.

Blue T-85 X-wings?? (0:16)

The red TIE interceptors/pilots for sure. Look like a mash up between Inqusitor's TIE and TIE Interceptor... (0:17)

The Phasma-type solder in gold.

That big ugly station ... looks like BSG but sitting over the water - that will make for some interesting future MOCs or even maybe a UCS?

The show's time frame is said to start 6 months before The Force Awakens and expects to move into the ST time frame as it goes on.

To be honest I'm kind of glad we haven't seen anything from Resistance. Nothing from the trailer has really jumped at me. The lead is irritating in an overly kiddified kind of way, the other new characters don't seem that interesting, the ship designs aren't ones I see myself keeping on display as Lego sets and the story itself just feels far too small in scale - even more than Rebels first season did. The only real draw of the show for me are the ST characters (Poe, Leia, Phasma, BB-8) who we've already gotten minifigures of.

I am looking forward to seeing whats in store for The Mandalorian, but anything to do with Resistance I'll be happy to see kept to the Juniors line.

The masterbuilder series offers a lot of new set-possibilities, like finally a release of a Yavin IV base (imagine something like the not-released Set but only bigger and with newer parts)

yaviniv-sketch01.jpg

Or the Jedi Temple, the Senat, Lars homested, a big new Jabas Palace, Mazs Castle (in it´s situation before the battle), Canto Bight, Jedha City, Imperial security complex on Scarif, Kessel Mines, Mos Eisley Cantina, Theed Palace, Tipoca City (Kamino), Geonosis Droid Factory, Geonosis Arena, Mustafar, ...

I think we can expect some really cool Master Builder Series Sets in the future. The only thing LEGO has to change, is to make a bit more exterior.

Cloud City is a really great set, if you don´t look at the missing exterior and at the high price but instead at at the interior and at the minifigures.

Having re-watched Solo I definitely want some Mimban stuff.

  • Mimban-Battlepack: 2x Mudtrooper, 1x Mimban Stormtrooper, 1x Imperial Officer or: 1x Mudtrooper-Specialist

  • AT-DT: 1x Pilot (who pilots these things?), 1x Korso, 2x Mimbanese

  • The Pit: Chewie (muddy), Han (muddy), 2x Mimban Stormtrooper (new print with ammo pouches), Imperial Groundcrew; could be combined with a landing platform for the hauler

I know the community does not like mixed battlepacks very much. But in case of Solo, I do. Very much so. The Imperial force on Mimban just screams for a mixed pack since they were mostly Mudtroopers with some officers, and some Stormtroopers. One could switch the officer for another Mudtrooper specialist (the medic e.g.), though.

Thanks for bringing up the Yavin IV! Now that I see that mini X-Wing in there, we'll probably get one that can fit a minifig if Lego releases a Yavin IV set.

That's one thing that won't happen, since clearly with these sets, displayability is a very low priority..

Well, yes, if you don't look at the two most important features of the set (looks, price), but somehow I can't not look at that as an AFOL  Minifigs, sure are nice, but the whole thing is not for display. And to me, to justify why my living room looks like a very lucky kid's room, the most important is to at least look good from the outside

Haven't really looked at the show yet, but its visuals are just revolting to me, even though I hated how Rebels looked, I have to admit that was a masterpiece compared to this... I can't fathom why they push this anime-style so much, especially with this horrible computer-generated, weightless paper-maché animation...

One thing that caught my attention though, is that they apparently showed T-85 X-wings, and a FO TIE-interceptor, in red, just for good measure...

Interesting though that the new films are so lacking in new ships - which wouldn't be a problem if it was much better story-wise - that Disney has to keep retconning new designs in their tie-in content. (pun intended)

Seeing as Lego now appear to be pushing the dual-pack micro-fighters with the Dewback and Escape Pod coming soon, I would quite like to see some similar sets. One that immediately springs to mind would be Endor-themed with an AT-ST and Ewok Catapult, including an AT-ST Pilot and either Keoulkeech or Stemzee.

I expect the MBS line will mostly just focus on the iconic locations. Yavin IV, Geonosis Arena, Jedi Temple, Lars Homestead, Mustafar Duel, Jabba's Palace, Mos Eisley Cantina, Endor Shield Bunker - those are the main ones I think have the biggest chance to get released.

Theed Palace, Kamino, Kashyyyk and Starkiller Base have potential in the long run but not before most of the others have been covered first. Maybe the Scarif Citadel also although that could just as easily be done like Vader's Castle.

Anything beyond that seems pretty unlikely though. Maz's Castle is currently too dependent on new molds for the alien patrons, Canto Bight has the whole gambling thing going against it and the rest are probably better suited as smaller retailer release sets (D'Qar, Kessel Mines, Senate Duel, Watto's Junkyard etc)

I'd like to see a UCS AT-AT, especially if they take the Sandcrawler approach of having it double as both a playable set and as a display piece.

I thought it was well known that there have been statements made by Lego reps that they have attempted to design a larger, UCS type, at at and there are stability issues that don't pass Lego standards.

It just occurred to me how little we actually got from Attack of the Clones. We're only getting repeats of AT-TEs and Republic Gunships which often come with the same old figures and most sets we did get were all yellow figures. We never even got anything from Kamino. And of course the Petranaki Arena. Than there is Dex's Diner (which would work great as a Yoda's Hut, Ahch-To island set), the bounty hunter chase, the Outlander Club. I really hope we'll get anything from that episode in the near future.

That's fair and don't for a moment doubt that's the reason, but I hear that and look at Raskolnikov's wonderful build.

It could use a little bit more structure stability if it were T:LG doing it, but it proves you can do a UCS AT-AT.

You can very much build one that is around a UCS size obviously.  There have been quite a few different designs over the years.
