Future Star Wars Sets

That would be cool, but I think Wuher (The cantina bartender) would be best left to a future cantina re-release. Maby replace him with one of the other patrons (that we'd be less likely to get in a cantina re-release) like the wolf alien, or the black flight suit pilot that Ben was talking too.

Shots of a Wuher minifig have already leaked, along with Han, Greedo, and a few Sandtroopers. Theoretically these are for an early 2018 Cantina set, either from ANH or Solo.

It seems pretty unlikely that LEGO would release a battle pack of 4 all-new characters with multiple new head sculpts. Looking at the Bounty Hunters set (which was already exceptional given that it included 4 named characters), there was only one all-new character (and one new head sculpt). The rest were modest updates of previously-released minifigs. So if you want to be at all realistic in guessing at a Cantina battle pack, you can bet that a Bith, Hammerhead, Jawa, and/or Greedo is going to be included (or Luke, Han, Ben, Chewie, etc.), since those head molds already exist.

The Naboo Royal Starship doesn't fit into the Star Wars universe at all - in my opinion, those 3 middle films are best forgotten altogether!

How wude ?

I've wanted a Naboo Royal Starship for 15+ years, but going on that timescale I'm not holding out hope, especially now they have all the new movies to accommodate. It's a shame though, as I think now they could properly do justice to the sleekness of the ship if they put the right brick count in, and clearly I'm not the only person who would be interested.

I wonder if LEGO will bring out another round of some of the clone wars stuff. I would love to see another AT-TE or the corporate alliance AAT.

I love the Clone Wars and Prequel Trilogy. Yes, Jar Jar is clearly a Sith lord. He's so bad it's actually funny to be honest. I've watched all the episodes from the animated television series.

In terms of minifigures;

Commander Bly and 327th Star Corps

Commander Bacara and Galatic Marines

Commander Doom and a couple of his troopers that served with the 501st when Tup shoots the Jedi Tiplar (The colours on Doom's armour is very nice)

Commander Monnk and Scuba Troopers (I loved the design so much)

Commander Keeli and Jedi Master Ima-Gun Di (That scene where they both give their lives to distract Separatist forces from destroying supply ships on Ryloth)

Commander Blackout and the other stealth Clone troopers from the episode where they "defeat" Admiral Trench

I'd love all the commanders - but these are probably some of the prominent Commanders. It's been a while so I may have left a popular commander out or two

Misc.Figs

AT-RT Driver/Rider - I know this is heavily requested and I have no idea why it hasn't been created

Riot Troopers, definitely

Thats it for figs.

Vehicles

UT-AT

AT-XT

SPHA-T

RX-200 Falchion Class Assault Tank (if any of you have seen the episodes regarding the Zillo beast) aka Stun Tank

A5-RX

Clone Personal Walker (would be good for a battlepack http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Clone_Personal_Walker)

I know that the shuttle Tydirium set was only 2 years ago, but a redo of the 7264 set from 2005 would be awesome. Having a mini figure based shuttle set with the emperor, Vader, royal guards, stormtroopers, etc. would be good for sales and a must-buy for collectors. I see it having a good gambit of figures, similar to the first order transporter 75103.

Maybe a good set idea in a year or two more. I have all the figures you listed, but I don't have a Lambda Shuttle yet and it is such a cool vehicle.

While the 7264 set was a nice value and contained — for me at least — a more iconic selection of minifigs than the 75094, I think there are several reasons why an update of the Tydirium/Lambda shuttle wouldn't (and shouldn't) happen in the next few years:

  1. There are two shuttles on shelves now, and while one is due to retire within the year, it's rare for LEGO to sell two similar designs at the same time (though obviously it happens, e.g., Poe's two X-Wings).
  2. There are two other much older shuttles more in need of updating (7659 Imperial Landing Craft and 8096 Palpatine's Shuttle from RotS). The Imperial Landing Craft in particular needs a refresh, given 7659's simplistic build and the enormous parts used for its hull... I think it could see release as a Rebels set if LEGO is willing to go there again. (Kylo's shuttle also needs updating given the incorrect color scheme and wings, but I doubt we'll see that unless it appears in Episode IX.)
  3. The cargo shuttle from Rogue One has not yet seen a release, and given its prominence in the film and the fact that it was edged out of production to make way for Krennick's shuttle, I think we'd see it before a rehash of the Tydirium, which just left store shelves a year ago.

But who knows? LEGO has shown a willingness to re-release sets over and over like the Landspeeder, so maybe they'll opt for a Tydirium sooner than later. But I think you'd be better off picking up the 75094 shuttle before it gets insanely expensive and supplementing with a few Royal Guards and the Emperor, which are readily available, and the freebie Vader Battle Pod when it is released later this month.

Are TLG definitely finished with Rebels sets, does anyone know?

Not a huge fan of the show but S3-4 have included some great characters - there's so many cool minifigure opportunities, and as series 4 continues to blend with overall saga I feel the show and the characters have gained some significance in my eyes - would be a shame if TLG didn't release at least one more wave....

A few ideas again:

Legends is a gold mine for old EU content. The fact we just got the Sandspeeder and the Clone Attack Tank tells us Lego isn't "quite" done with using Legends as a source of inspiration. So here are a few Legends style sets I would love to see:

Yuuzhan Vong Battle Pack: $13-15 USD. Three Vong warriors and a commander. Armed with black "snakes" from the Ninjago line. Organic looking vehicle of some sort (crab walker? crustacean speeder? one of those weird one man spaceships they had?)

Knights of the Old Republic Battle Packs: $13-15 USD. Republic pack, three Republic soldiers and Trask/commander figure. Sith pack, twosilver Sith Troopers, a Dark Jedi, and one crimson Sith Commander.

Knights of the Old Republic Underworld Dealings: $30-40 USD. Mission Vao, Zallabar, Canderous Ordo (yeah I know he doesn't fit that much, but he'd be a popular character in a low priced set), Black Vulcar Gang Members. Steal back the prototype Swoop Racer and its engine core from the vicious Black Vulcars.

Knights of the Old Republic Star Forge Showdown:$40-60 USD. Revan (Lighstide redeemed to keep his Polybag version exclusive), Bastilla Shan, Darth Malak; Face against Darth Malak in the control room of the Star Forge; saving the injured Jedi from the bacta tanks and redeeming Bastilla.

Knights of the Old Republic: Ebon Hawk $100-120 USD. Revan (Jedi Knight), Carth Onasii, HK-47, T3-M4, Jolee Bindo, Juhanii, Sith Soldiers. Fly the iconic freighter, with playable interior details including a med-bay and a small swoop bike.

E-Wing Starfighter: $50-70 USD. Wedge Antilles, Rogue Squadron member, R7 Astromech Droid, Stormtroopers. Help Wedge master the experimental starfighter, with spring loaded missiles, and a hidden Astromech compartment.

Dark Trooper Showdown: $30-40 USD. Kyle Katarn, Phase III Dark Troopers, Moff Mohc. Join Kyle Katarn to sabotage the Dark Trooper factory, preventing the empire from using the droid soldiers against the Rebellion.

Between all those ideas, I think the Dark Troopers and E-Wing could easily fit Lego's current themed EU sets (Jek's Starfighter from a few years back was basically a black painted E-Wing). They fit in a classic style (Original Trilogy) and have iconic characters fans would want (Kyle Katarn remains popular, and Wedge is a popular OT character we rarely see outside of the UCS and collectible sets). Knights of the Old Republic as a one off sub-theme would be cool and I would love to see it, but I doubt a full mini-theme could be dedicated unless we get one year where we don't get a new Star Wars film (the Old Republic theme for example came out in years were we didn't get any new theatrical films). Still, Lego could release one Knights set a year, slowly building up the main cast of characters. If Freemakers sets can be made which focus on an obscure Lego tie in show, why not sets for one of the best reviewed games of all time?

I would like a UCS edition of Snoke's Supremacy. I think there's so much they can add to a set like that, but I think a standard Lego set would be too small to pack it all in.

Do you mean something like the Deathstar Playset in another shape? With some of the following rooms:

Spoiler

Snokes Throne Room, Hangar, Bridge, Elevator (bigger than the Death Star one),...

If something like this will come in the future years, I would be one of the first to buy it.

So far one of the very best battlepacks has been the bounty hunters one, imo. If there could be more BPs with specific characters like, maybe a Cantina battlepack with Ponda Baba, Dr Evazan, the Imperial Spy and the bartender, it'd be amazing. A rebel pilots & 1 mechanic BP would be neat too.

Now that we know about the new Cantina release, something like that would go well with it, but maybe replace the bartender with another creature or even a Bith.  Personally, I would like to see a UCS Cantina.  Ideally, it would focus on the inside so that parts allotment would not have to go to a landspeeder, vaporator, Dewback, a prop vehicle that literally showed up for a few seconds, or anything else outside the structure.  That way, they could focus on new aliens, which is what most people are really after.  Honestly, the Cantina scene alone could warrant its very own collectible minifig series, but it will never happen.  I would like to see Ponda Baba, Dr Evazan, the Tonnika sisters, Ithorian, and the wolf guy at the very least.

I still want a Republic Senate balcony set with Senators, Senate Guards (robes), and perhaps a Jedi. But what are the chances? The "civilian" senate is not a popular choice, neither are the Senate Guards, and PT/TCW-stuff is not exactly Disney's love.

More realistically I too want Snoke's throne room with his Praetorians. Could be like Palpatine's Arrest or Final Duel with Rey, Kylo, Snoke, and two (or more) Preatorians. It's easy to imagine play features but I don't want to spoil.

Yes!  I thought that also after seeing the movie.  Why didn't LEGO decide to make Snokes throne room (like you say similar to the death star duel ).  Minifigs - Snoke, Kylo, Rey and two praetorian guards.  That would have been a very popular set, but nooo they have to give us half an AT-ST.... :P

My spoiler-tagged wishlist for the Last Jedi sets.

Snoke's Throne Room
Similar set to the Death Star Final Duel/Palpatine's Arrest. Includes Rey, Snoke, Kylo Ren and 2 Praetorean Guards.

Elite Praetorean Guard Battle Pack
Includes 1 guard with the T-shape helmet (same as buildable figure), 1 guard with the Inquisitor-style helmet and 2 guards with the Mandalorian helmets.

The Raddus
Something similar to the Malevolence set that came out years back. Includes General Leia (grey Super-Poppins costume), Finn (Medical Suit), Admiral Ackbar, Lieutenant Connix, Poe Dameron and all-gold C-3PO.

Canto Bight Police Speeder
Includes Police Officer, Finn, Rose and Fathier (either brickbuilt or molded)

Resistance A-Wing
Similar to the current release. Includes A-Wing Pilot (Ronith Blario this time instead of Tallie Lintra), a generic Resistance Trooper and PZ-4CO.

Battle of Crait
Something similar to Assault on Hoth. Builds include the battering ram cannon, the main blast doors of the Rebel/Resistance base and an extension of the trench in Defense of Crait. Minifigures include Luke Skywalker (Crait/Flashback costume), Kylo Ren, General Leia (brown dress with high collar cape), Finn (no jacket with Ski Speeder headset), 2 Snowtroopers and 2 Resistance Troopers.

Also a Jedi Exile Luke Skywalker (dark hobo costume) as a promotional figure like DJ.

High enough to set the senate duel between Yoda and Palpatine. There's no chance that we see the senate with simple senators. We had the ''duel on Geonosis''. Considering the period and the importance of this duel, there is no reason a ''Senate duel'' set in the same size minimum never appears in shelves. I don't imagine guards with robes to be in such a set, but i highly hope we'll see Mas Amedda.

After seeing "The last Jedi", it's not really difficult to imagine the set we could have this summer, due to the lack of source material. I even wonder how TLG should not give us a "Snoke throne room", with Snoke, Rey, Kylo Ren, and 3 or 4 praetorian guards (remembering the scene, two would be not enough). Something on Canto Bight would be probable also. For my own, I'd like a playset with police speeder, fathier and a part of the casino (with aliens figs at least). Of course an A-wing can be also expecting.

I really want a Jedi High Council set, basically just the one that was on LEGO Ideas. That was perfect. It would include Episode III Anakin (updated with TLNM Lloyd hair in dark brown and dual-molded legs for the boots), Obi-Wan (also Ep. III, updated with dual-molded legs), Yoda, Mace Windu (the new one from 75199 but with side-leg printing for the boots), and a trans-blue hologram variant of Ki-Adi Mundi.

I think that would make a great set, and the idea would be to collect various Jedi Masters from other sets and fill them in the council.

Some minidoll style sets based around Star Wars Forces of Destiny seem like such an inevitable idea. I’m surprised we haven’t gotten some already. I don’t necessarily want any for myself, but thinking up ideas for some and the new molds is sorta fun.

I feel like they’d be primarily location based and like the series, be mainly girl oriented. There could be a cheap Sabine’s bedroom set featuring a changable spray painted wall. Rey’s home with a helmet and pilot doll statue. A Hoth echo base play set with Leia, Chewie and C3P0. A large Endor Ewok Village Party set with Leia, Han and some new Ewok molds similar to the Elves trolls. Also a new spring green Yoda mold that could come with his hut, Luke and a cutified R2

On the subject of OT location sets:

Lego has released everything for Hoth, Endor and the Death Star, and with the upcoming Yoda's Hut, Dagobah is pretty much done as well. The figures for all those locations are pretty much done as well, with the exception of Force Ghosts and specific Imperial Officers.

That leaves Tatooine, Bespin and Yavin IV as the locations they'll focus on in future.

Yavin could be done with a large Rebel Base, around the £120 price, with four levels - hangar, briefing room, celebration room, control room. Figures could be the medal versions of Luke, Han and Leia, or pilot, normal jacket and white robe respectively. Add in Dodonna, Red Leader and his Droid and Rebel Technician and Honour Guard with a transport speeder and everything  major is covered.

Tatooine from Ep VI is as good as done with the recent sail barge, skiff and palace, with only some of Jabba's gang to add.

Tatooine from Ep IV however has a few holes in it. The patrons of the cantina are an obvious one, but the Lars Homestead is a bigger one. I'd suggest the main above ground structure, as well as the below ground kitchen and garage being represented, along with a V-35 speeder. Luke, Owen, Beru, R2 and 3PO should be present along with maybe a treadwell or group. I'd also like to add in a tusken and bantha, making it similar to the precious cantina set in size and contents.

Bespin is hardest to suggest what is best as there is so much to include. Landing platform, apartment, dining room, corridor, 3PO's accident room, scrap room, as well as several locations where Luke and Vader duel. This doesn't include the carbon freezing chamber as we got one recently, but if these were all combined in one UCS set, you'd expect a new version to be included. A Cloud Car would also be expected. Figures would be Luke in dark tan outfit, Han in blue jacket, Leia in Red robe/white jumpsuit, Chewie, R2, 3PO, Lando, Vader, Boba Fett, Lobot, Bespin Guards, Stormtroopers and maybe a Cloud Car pilot.

For OT ships we've done well recently with Rogue One updating the AT-ST and Y-Wing. The TIE is coming with Solo, but there are a few ships needing an upgrade IMO.

B-Wing. The last one was so disappointing, it would be nice to see it done right. For figs, a B-Wing Pilot, rebel officer of some kind and a technician.

TIE Bomber/Interceptor. These haven't even been made in grey rather than blue yet. Going with three figures for each, one pilot per kit, with Death Star Trooper, Imperial Crew, Motti and Tagged making up the others.

Slave One, once the UCS is gone. This may be a good place to give us a Zuckuss, with Boba and maybe a Bespin Guard. Han in Carbonite goes without saying.

The Imperial Landing Craft. It would be nice to see this remade, although I doubt it's anyone's priority. It'd be a good way to get more sandtroopers, maybe another Dewback.

Tantive IV. It would have to have the bridge as seen in RO at the front, a corridor through the centre and the escape pod area at the back. Leia, Vader, R2 and Antilles are must haves, maybe two/three of a rebel trooper, stormtrooper, 3PO, a black suited imperial officer (jir or praji) or the striped R4 unit (R4-M9).

Super Star Destroyer. This should be constructed in a similar style to the FO and Imperial Star Destroyers, but slightly longer. Inside should be the bridge and Vader's chamber, a projected emperors if there is room. Vader, Piett, Ozzel, Imperial Fleet Trooper and two Imperial Crew should be the figures.

Home One. The interior should be similar to the last Home One set with the bridge and briefing room connected. A hangar with ships similar to the mini TIEs in that Rebels set would also be good if there was space. Ackbar, Mon Mothma, Madine, Nien Nunb, rebel technician and a Dressellian would be a great fig line up.

Nebulon B and a GR-75 would be great, but have next to no play value.

I think that about covers what we need, but a few battle pack ideas too.

Rebel Pilots battle pack - three pilots (Tiree, Pops Krail and John D. Branon) with a technician.

Death Star battle pack - two Death Star troopers, stormtrooper, imperial officer (grey suit).

Imperial Crew battle pack - two imperial crew, Death Star gunner, imperial officer (black suit).

Hotham battle pack - two hoth troopers, two snowtroopers.

Bespin battle pack - two Bespin Guards, imperial officer, stormtroopers.
