Hello everybody,

I want to present you my latest MOC, a Toyota BJ Flatbed. This MOC was built for the LOWLUG 62.4 truck trial organised by Mahjqa. I ''stole'' some design elements from rm8's awesome toyota fj45, such as the placing of some panels.

The model features:

- XL motor for drive

- M motor for steering

- M motor for the winch

- 3-link front suspension

- 4-link rear suspension

Here are some pictures:

Great use of old hubd and new suspension arms! I love these small realistic offroaders, Lego sure has evolved to allow such compactness!

The car all the way in the back won the first prize. (don't have a better picture of it unfortunately).

This is so cute!!!!

How does the winch work?

Just a wormgear driving a 8t gear powering the winch. :classic:

Is anyone interested in making an LXF for this? If this was a group effort it wouldn't take very long...

I'm planning on making a LDD model but I can't promise anything since I'm realy busy with school right now. :sceptic:

I've already started an LXF: just the bodywork, but still about 1/2 an hour of work: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7ClftNJdh9_VWx6U00zTkhORnM/view?usp=sharing

Do you maybe have a link with all the contestants? I would like to see more ideas for this building scale.

Yes, I'd like to see more pics :classic: Edited by TheLegoExpert

Unfortunately not, But the guy who build the first car in the row also made a topic about his car: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=106618

Thanks! I will make a video soon. The guy organising the event, (Mahjqa) shot some footage, so perhaps he will make a video about the race.

In the picture of the axles does the grey gear spin freely?

Yup, it does. :classic:

Great, did you use mine  I lined up a lot of the parts: over 150 pieces.

No I did it myself:). I think you posted the wrong link though, it showed a modified version of Piterx's fiat panda.
