Request: Render of the Western Town RCB

Recommended Posts

I'm preparing a frontpage of the latest RCB. Could someone please help me with a render of it?

It's the "latest turn" model here

Thanks :classic:

I'll do it if no one else is going to. Is there a certain angle you'd prefer?

Alright, I'll try to get it close to that. Also, I forgot to ask, what size does it need to be? I'd like not to render it larger than I need to so it doesn't take forever.

@Superkalle - Just found that easypano.com can upload and share VR image (same as pan0.net). I will make some more hi-res VR render today.

@ virtualrepublic - Looking forward to see your next amazing rendering!

My first try to use free trial version of Tourweaver 7 software to create simple 3 hotspots virtual tour. After enter virtual tour using link below, right click and select fullscreen of pop-up menu.(upper right fullscreen icon / double click / F11)

Click / touch the green circle to move to that hot spot.

HTML5 format: (support android/ios smart phone and ipad 's gyro sensor.(tap cross-hair icon)

Update Virtual tour:

- Add 3 more buildings.

- Add polygonal hotspots.

- Add walk transition effect.

- Add realtime interactive lens flare effect. (html5 not support this feature, maybe)

flash VR format: (double click for full screen)

This gets better and better. I like that you can double click objects in the VR model to jump to them (like in Google Street view).

And the lens flare is perfect.

This is so cool, that I'm wondering when LEGO themselves will start using it for their sets

In my iphone this link leads me to the main easypano site; not the model.

Is it normal

Thank for kind words and for first page, Superkalle. There are still many cool features didn't been test yet. For example:

-add sound & music

-hover mouse on door to show door open animation (Hotspot Perspectives Effect).

-Add 3D modeling object.

Maybe it can make mini game.

But unfortunately, the site keep delete my virtual tours. Seems like they didn't allow free version (with water mark) to up load virtual tour. The Tourweaver 7 Professional Edition cost 700 USD.

Because the flash VR format not support smartphone. I will try to upload HTML5 format, but the lens flare effect may not working. And all of my virtual tours may be delete by the site soon due to free version.

@bbqqq Sorry for the late bump, but wow! Great renders. I did the banker's office, and your lighting/setup for that one absolutely brings out the best in it.

It seems like pan0.net is down. Have to find new VR viewer on the net.

I've used PanoSalado in the past, though I think last time I checked development had stopped.

Also, cube panoramas usually look better than spherical in my experience. You don't see all the artifacts near the poles.

Here's an example:
