Hi all,

a first vessel. It's supposed to be one of those fast commuter yachts of the Roaring Twenties. The yacht is 60 studs long, width is 12 studs. It's equipped with some PF and 9 Volt lighting (navigation lights and interior).

The build is strongly inspired by Joshua's (JBIronWorks') amazing commuter yacht "Mohican", see https://www.flickr.c...06/15357970010/

Some more pics on my Flickr. Thanks for looking, c&c welcome as usual.

It looks amazing how you managed to get the nice elongated shape of the hull. It looks very elegant. I wouldn't mind enjoying a sunset on those chairs at the back. They took very comfortable.

Wow! Best MOC I've seen a very long time. Any pictures of the construction? I'm really interested in understanding what techniques are used to make a curved hull like that.

Thank you very much. Glad you like the deck chairs, too - furniture is not my special field.

Glad you like it that much! Just to give an impression of the hull technique:

By varying the length of the liftarms you get the shape of the hull.

You've managed to create some superb lines to the vessel. Excellent!

Thanks a lot!
