King Kahuka. That's right. Lardbutt sitting on his dinky little throne, waiting for a big BSB to come sailing by so that he can use his voodoo magic. I'm not that big a fan of Islanders, and right now, I'm not sure what I should add to my collection anyway and I'm looking for help. Kahuka and his throne are in pieces, anyway.

(Black Seas' Barracuda) - one, the reissue...it's been/being turned into a MOC ship.

***Pending a current eBay auction, I may soon have a second complete BSB hull with masts and sails...wish me luck!***

Not much pirate stuff, sadly...I was too young the first time around, and when the reissues came out I was at that awkward age where your parents expect YOU to start buying things, but you're too young to make very much money...so now I'm stuck with eBay (little pricey for a college student) and the hope that one day, Lego will see fit to reinstitute the Pirates.

How much did they cost? What's a reasonable price for those in your opinion (MISB SETS)? It's a real pain to get those US sets in Europe..

I got them all via eBay - but it's a pain to get MISB sets in any country.

I can go look at the prices if the auctions are still in my eBay...

Something pleasantly unexpected happened today...

A 6236 King Kahuka arrived in the mail today and it was in MISB condition! The auction didn't especially state that it was so I was expecting it to be opened.

I got my first pirate set a few days ago - the BSB. Today I washed and ironed its sails. It is fantastic.

I am waiting for the Imperial flagship and the raft.

At least that's what my instructions say, might have lost/broken some parts.

+I think I've lost one or two instructions, since I have another 2 Imperial Guards and 2 pirates at least, I think they might have come from 6237 - Pirates Plunder (2x).

I wish I had gotten more, but hey, I was only 9 or something when they stopped making pirates (and I was in my dark age when the end was near)

And I got a fair amount of seperate pirate pieces, minifigs (got every minifig torso and head at least once), weapons, and the sails of IF, CC and ITP.

*=recent purchase, as in: A set I got post-dark ages.

Wishlist:
