Thru the first 2 sets of bags. What a phenomenal build to this point, especially if you love Star Wars sets. No buyers remorse at all even if it ends up being parted out down the road.

Sadly I will have to wait a bit to get this but if they have it on show let me know and I will pass by some time.

I took a wonder pat the store today to make sure we weren't being double crossed and we weren't. It's the 19th.

There wasn't one on display either, which was a shame.

It's a sticker just like all the Star Wars UCS'.

I debated whether or not I wanted to apply the sticker immediately or wait until everything was complete. Was paranoid of applying it wrong or even worse an air bubble right in the middle... But thankfully applied flawlessly. What a way to possibly ruin the build for anyone who air bubbles or misaligns this sticker from the start. Overall, 22 stickers to apply, but this by far is really the only one that has any degree of difficulty.

Damn, now it's sold out on the US lego page, with the release stock date of the 12th of March... I totally forgot this was coming out for VIP early though.

Just completed bag(s) 4 and going to call it a night for now. If anyone is interested, below are links that show the build after bag(s) 1, 2, 3 and 4 so far.

If you have any questions about any aspect of the build so far, will be more than happy to try to answer.

One observation thus far in regards to the printed runway plates. The center lines on all of the plates are horrendous. It's as if my 5 year old son drew the lines on the plates himself.... meaning the printing is wavy and far from a nice crisp straight line. It's a minor issue IMHO though as so far this has been the most enjoyable large (1000+ piece) build for me yet, surpassing the Sea Cow by a wide margin.

I called it a night after 3 bags and fully concur. The hull is so rock solid it could be used as a blunt weapon.

That's odd because I could swear I kept reading comment after comment on various sites and forums of how they were only going to sell 3 of them, clearance the rest and cut the planned run short.

I hope you get one soon.

Have you tried calling customer service, they can normally put an order through or ship any that are local to you that may not be listed on the site.

I guess everyone was expecting a Minifigure sized Control Room. Because the Minifigures are not essential to the set.

Honestly, if they got rid of the area designed for the motor functions they could have put in a minifigure scale lab. The set just reeks of "I'm going to make you spend more money to get what you wanted originally"

There is a ton of space in the hull and it feels like the very back section was suppose to house the Hulk's cage thingy, but was probably dropped so they didn't have to make a nano/micro scaled Hulk. There is a circular hole in the floor and a window into the main hull from back there. Sad.

I'm picking this up tomorrow and my friend and I are planning on building the whole thing on Saturday. Having never built a set that size before; is around 8 hours a reasonable time to build the set in?

We're both familiar with Lego so will build at the average AFOL speed.

If not I might start without him on Friday evening.

Hey guys. For those overseas who've had a chance to pick it up, what's the stock looking like in the LEGO shops?

I'm very much torn between picking it up tomorrow with the UK release or waiting till next month. Heard rumours of a double VIP points event again in March, so I'm tempted to hold off. Incidentally, do we know if that's definitely happening next month?

It should be from March 14-29.

It can be pre-ordered????!!!! Wasn't it supposed to be early access for VIP's? It will be shipped March 1st. Ordered it anyway...

I wonder, if it's a pre-order and it ships on March 1st, will we get the double VIP points in March?

I doubt it considering it doesn't start till the 14th

Why not just wait until March to order it? It's not as though it'll be sold out when it's just a couple weeks old...

Winter Soldier was added to the order!

Not on LEGO.com, it was not visible in my basket but in the e-mail confirmation. Instagram proof ;

As I put in the 2015 topic, The Winter Soldier is an exclusive in the UK at least for now with the VIP Helicarrier release. The store I went to only mentioned it as an exclusive *during VIP early access*. That could mean that it'll disappear for at least a while when early access is over or that it'll be available through other means straight after the early access period is over.

If anyone wants a better look at it, I did a review:

Also asking again if anyone can help me, roughly how long does it take to build the helicarrier?

Kingdom, I've spent about 8 hours total so far and have just the upper flight deck and mini vehicles left (bags numbered 11 and 12), so I'd say depending on the builder's experience level it will take between 8-10 hours total. Overall, there are about 24 bags (not an exact count) as most of the numbered sections have multiple bags.
