42036 - Street Motorcycle - MODs and Improvements

Recommended Posts

More like a 42036 + 42036...

Your´re right. I bought in fact two of those. And I tried to build this without any further pieces. I just added two grey beams for the fork, a few parts for the lamps and grey and black pieces for the seat.

Oh I see that you are from Russia. You know, I was inspired by an russian motorcycle named Ural. A good friend of mine even wrote a book about this nice sidecars.

The bike you have done looks way better than TLG gave us. The sidecar adds a whole new level.Good work. Hey post some pic of just the bike

This is great! The panels work perfectly for the form of the sidecar.

It's like a reedition of the 857/8857 Motorcycle, mainly because of the color scheme.

I really like your Mod  and I would love to have one in my shelf  .

Here is with different colors:

Those colours make it look like a royal enfield, it's amazing how a colour change without changing the design makes it look totally different. Great job by the way.

Gorgeous MOC!

In its turn russian motorcicle Ural was inspired by BMW motorcicle:)

I build mine using wide tire and without sidecar, like in this video:

Thanks for the inspiration!

Both recently this set. There was good offer with damaged box in local shop. Didn't planned to by even, but proce was very good. So built it. Run out of inpiration for TC11, so started to make modifications to this set.

Everything started with this, because it was so annoying for me

Then I rebuilt handlebars with brake levers

800x622.jpg

Then replaced rear lights with flat ones

800x1051.jpg

Then installed water cooling

Also I didn't liked that grey axle, so I made somethong on the bottom part of body. You can see changes also in previous picture

800x315.jpg

Then disc brakes (they are on both sides of the wheel)

last thing now is red side panels in place of black (i don't put stickers)
