Fellow Builders, This is what happens after a couple of cups of coffee and combined that with some classic parts, you get a Backhoe.................enjoy

im going to go out on a limb and say this was caused by more than coffee... perhaps a child's TV show and some free time :tongue: its a great build though, lots of nice features and great scaling. would look right at home in any city!

I really like its classic City vibe, even some of the newer parts like that black frame fit right in. And those supports are like a cherry on top :thumbup:

@ GallardoLU, well not really, I'm too busy building to watch TV, and I just build for the kids anyway.........in the beginning I struggled with the proportions. The bucket and dipper where what I scaled this model to, then there were the tires, but it all worked out OK.

@ imvanya, I appreciate your complement coming from a great designer as yourself......I forgot to add the operator is sitting on a 2 x 2 turntable, so he can turn around and operate the dipper at the work site. ( needed to use two 'jumper' plates for clearance )

@ lightningtiger, had these ol' parts around for ever, when I saw the ROP cage from another kit, I knew what my layout was missing and got busy

@ King Aragorn, I found the dipper bucket in my stash of black pieces, and knew what I had to do
