Guess that movie!

That's Jack Benny, so that leads me to believe that the movie is Charley's Aunt?

If so, that definitely wasn't an easy one! :)

that would be Mongo riding into town from the comedic classic, Blazing Saddles.

Yes, Blazing Saddles is correct, Super Goblin (and Tarfful)!

… and I believe that would be the 50's version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers!

As well it should be. It's creepy, and charming. :)

Let's see how long this one lasts (without getting too obscure!):

Operation Petticoat? Just a shot in the dark, I recognize Cary Grant (who doesn't?).

you're shot in the dark found it's mark. it is indeed Operation Petticoat..

it's hard to keep up with you guys and your knowledge of black and white cinema.

To be honest, I know more about old films than new ones.

Although, to be honest, I was about to guess that Super Goblin's frame was from The Tingler...

Earth vs the Flying Saucers! Awesome!

OK… let me see what I can find that's more obscure, then!

Alright, not overly obscure because I'm sure we could all find something that would be impossible to guess if we tried. But how 'bout this without it's biggest name actors in scene:

that would be a UFO crashing into the US Capitol Building from the film, Earth vs. the Flying Saucers.

I'm not sure about that one. I Don't see Lon Chaney, but my best guess is "The Wolf Man".

No, but good guess! This is a dark(ish) comedy, from a few years later.

Arsenic and Old Lace!

Though I think that photograph is from the play rather than the movie (As I recall the stairs went to the right in the film). Also it almost looks as if you can see the stage at the bottom of the picture.

You're right on both counts! I was looking for a set photo as everything else has Grant front-and-center… and somehow I was thinking that Karloff was in the film (with the whole inside joke about him thing), but I had that backwards. I guess maybe I should go re-watch it!

Hmm, I thought Arsenic and Old Lace was in color.

The 1944 version may have been colorized, but I'm pretty certain it was B&W originally… and I don't think I've ever seen it in color. Of course, I also got on of the main cast members wrong, so… don't take my word for it.

Oh man! I know this! This is the guy who "likes pain" in Little Shop Of Horrors isn't it?

Correct! That's Jack Nicholson in The Little Shop of Horrors.
