BossFight Posted November 17, 2014 My very first MOC. I know the pictures are not of the best quality, and the lighting is horrible. It is more of an experiment for me to see how to build a scenario which makes some sort of sense and tells a little story on it's own. Any and all tips or comments on how I could improve this build are very welcome! Mike S Posted November 17, 2014 Nice! I like the colors you used in this.
BossFight Posted November 17, 2014 Thank you! I would've liked to create a better looking kind of water, but I simply don't have the parts yet.
Captain Braunsfeld Posted November 17, 2014 Hi, blue for water is alright. Add a light or two when taking the pictures - that should do the trick. A fine MOC, nicely laid out, with a strong, self-explaining idea. Good!
BossFight Posted November 17, 2014 Yeah in retrospect I should have payed more attention to the pictures. And thanks for the compliments!
dr_spock Posted November 17, 2014 Nice, we know what they're up to. Pictures are a bit dark but you could add a torch to the pirate's hand to make it look like they are seeking treasure at night.
Mestari Posted November 19, 2014 Or if you have a tripod you don't need any more lights. I always make photos in available light, tripod, self timer and they look pretty good, I think. I like that cutlass sunk in the skeleton :)
