Lord Tyrus, last year the first batch was not mailed out until Jan 22. But the last regular winners did not ship out until Feb 4. The extra winners took even longer to get their prizes.

But the thing is that the Mods do this stuff in their spare time. It is a massive project to both run this raffle, sort all the various components, and to coordinate international shipping to so many winners. It takes time.

I am not watching my mailbox. It was just be a very pleasant surprise when it does come.

Oh, I completely agree, the mods do a great job, I struggle myself with sticking to contest deadlines etc., fitting them in with my schedule, and who's to complain about free LEGO? The mods are fantastic for even doing this contest. It's just that the thread looked completely dead, and I was worried it had continued somewhere else... (It has happened to me before )

The raffle thread always has a slew of activity in three stages: Entries being posted, winners selected, and then when people start receiving their LEGO. I won last year too and I think it was late February or early March when I received my prize.

This is a mamoth task that has multiple prizes and international destinations. All run by one great guy who also has a job and life outside of LEGO fan forums.

We all want our exciting prizes and they'll arrive when they arrive as a nice little surprise one day.
