TwistedDreams Posted July 1, 2007 (edited) I Present to you, The Aurora! (name thanks to Asuka) Yeah, this will be my first ship I've ever build except for the red beard runner set. I wish I could have extended the back cabin a little bit, but w/e. And there will be a triangular sail on the front two ropes soon, along with custom sails. Crew of five, and a Captain. The space under the front deck isn't being used, so I need to figure out what to put there.... I really like how the front gets... pointy and how you've sloped the stern of the ship. One cannon seems like the fine number for this ship. You don't want it to be overarmed, do you! ;-) The only thing I don't like is the sail. But that's probably because I don't like the idea of a sail with skull and crossbones on it... It's just one of the worst things a pirate can do to himself... But it's good! Do you happen to have any pics of the inside of the cabin? I'm glad the color scheme worked! My first attemp (just a while ago), was completely black :/ . So boring.... The only thing I don't like is the sail. Do you happen to have any pics of the inside of the cabin? Yeah, Thats the only sail I have right now, I'm going to make custom sails soon. And the cabin... Well there isn't any right now. I'm still working on that and the under side of the bow. Picture update soon! -TD EDIT: Oh and btw, I'm going to design this in ML CAD, and have instructions when its complete. I am glad people are trying to use the gray hulls, so then when I get around to using them, everyone will have adapted to them! Anyhow, like I said, a good first attempt and I like the color scheme.
