Superkalle Posted October 3, 2014 What absolutely terrible news. I'm not sure what to say. This is such a huge loss. Both in terms of him being such a friendly and good guy here in the community, but also because of the great software he made which was such an important one in the Ldraw eco-system. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

Calabar Posted October 3, 2014 A sad and unexpected news for me too. I hope that someone will have the chance gather his heritage so that his name will continue to be well known around the whole the LEGO community for long long time. Many of us know him thanks to the great work he did programming SR3D. Surely we will miss you, Sergio.

Zerobricks Posted October 3, 2014 Its always sad when you hear such news... Anyone knows what happened? Also was there anyone who can keep the project alive? I'd think he would want that...
legolijntje Posted October 4, 2014 [...]Also was there anyone who can keep the project alive? I'd think he would want that... It would be nice if there would be a (skilled) programmer and afol to at least bring SR3D Builder to version 1.0. Not only would it be nice to the community, I think it would also be a very nice tribute to Sergio. He spent at least about 8 years on SR3D Builder and it isn't even "finished" as he wanted it to be. The problem is that nobody has the source code except Sergio...
