raven1280 Posted October 1, 2014 Much like my giraffe car I have created a cow transport car. I felt the cars in 60052 were to small and didn't like the open design. So heres my version.
DuckBricks Posted October 2, 2014 Good job! Perhaps include a bin of grass or something for the cows to eat while being transported?

dr_spock Posted October 2, 2014 Neat. The drop down gates allow for easy play. Nice feature. I've been thinking of building something like it. In researching, there was 6% lost of cattle during transport by train over long distances. You should have water too. I think most livestock transport is done by trucks now since it's cheaper. The final truck ride is likely to the local processing plant. Processed meat can then be transported by trains, trucks, ships in refrigerated shipping containers, trailers, reefers, etc. over long distances. The circus still transport animals by train. Their cars are built to be more comfortable for the animals. http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=495542
