Now for my licensed theme entry, I present Desert Scavenger aka Jawa Speeder.

A lone Jawa scours the Tatooine desert in his junk-built speeder looking for droids and trying to avoid trouble.

26pcs including cape, ion rifle, speeder, and Gonk.

Note: Gonk is not a minifig, he's a mailbox with legs. :-D

Seriously. They did exactly the same thing in the official Mars Impulse set.

I had considered a variety of other droids, all parts based, but wanted to avoid anything that technically included a minifig part like a battle droid torso or arms. Gonk was the best choice, and is a personal favourite. *sweet*

The general idea here is to make a single figure battlepack that we aren't likely to get any other way. Jawas are expensive and I'd love to have a dozen more, but I'm not buying 4 more sandcrawlers. I'd happily buy a dozen of these sets. *sweet*

The speeder is clearly made of an assortment of scavenged parts that our little Jawa here has managed to turn into a useful personal vehicle. When he does manage to find something, he simply makes contact with the nearest sandcrawler to come pick it up, and in the meantime, he blasts the heck out of it with his ion rifle so it won't wander off.*

The Head of PON the ancient guardian of the tribe of the Chapoclten, sits guarding the idol of C3PO an ancient warrior who slaughtered 1000 Spanish troops as they invaded the Americas. Can Indiana Jones dodge the spear trap and slicing scythe in time to retrieve the artifact? Features include flick fire spear that shoots out of the mouth of Pon and scythe that is hidden by foliage.

Boxart, I'm pretty happy, considering it was done with Paint:

Includes Alfred with glass tray and letter, Grandfather clock (entrance to the Batcave), rare gold platter with chicken leg, and Ace the Bathound.

Pieces, all 27 used. I actually painted my police dog black for this, and I'm really happy how the grandfather clock came out.

I really enjoyed this, I think I might make a topic devoted to a whole slew of Bat impulses! X-D
