Matteo1130 Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Don't think it needs presentation ;) It's not a moc of mine, just a find, but I think it worths support: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/72407 In the updates there are newer pictures.. Quote
David Thomsen Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Wow, didn't think it would have so much support already... I've added my support. Disney would own the Monkey Island property now, wouldn't they? So it wouldn't be impossible for Lego to work with them on this. Quote
TomKraut Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 The minifigs are great! Unfortunately, the bar is not, especially in the pictures on the main page. It seems terribly bland and generic. It's a little better in the updates where it is more tightly packed. It's strange that they already have over 2000 votes but no official Lego comment, which usually happens when a project reaches 1000 votes. I'm not sure that a single build like the bar is the best way to go for a Monkey Island Ideas project. A few very small builds to represent iconic scenes (some shrubbery for the sword fights, a few strange looking shelves for the Voodoo Lady, a vending machine selling root beer...) and the minifigures might work better. Cheers TomKraut Quote

Cheers TomKraut I sometimes vote for a concept even if the execution isn't that exciting, because presumably the project will be fixed up by Lego before it is released. But it is a shame that some of the pictures in the updates weren't used for the main page. I thought LeChuck's ship would been a great choice for a model. Quote
