Icy blast from the past

I visited my mom on the weekend. She kept all of my Lego from childhood in a big tub. I dumped it all out and played for hours with my 2 young daughters.

I found some semi-dismantled chunks of old Space sets that I recognized so I downloaded some instructions and re-created them.

Sweet...They were one of my favourite sets, especially the ship (#6973) as a kid...in fact i re-bought it and it should arrive today as well...hopefully soon..

Nice! I used to have these too - the ship is one of my favorite sets ever. Alas, with the state their in now, there's no hope of recovery.
