henrysunset Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 I just completed a detailed review of the brand new book "LEGO Architecture: The Visual Guide" by the popular DK publisher. The book is beautifully produced, and features all 21 sets in the growing LEGO Architecture series. Let's see what it has to offer, and find out if it's something you should add to your library! Steve309 Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 (edited) I like the book. I look forward to new architecture sets the most. So as with the book I was waiting for it to come out. Would have liked to see more initial designs. They showed one for the Sydney opera house. To me seems like a detailed instruction manual. With out the building instructions. Glad they included Marina Bay Sands. The real life pictures they include look really good. Edited September 1, 2014 by Steve309 Quote

I'm glad you like the book, and I definitely agree that they should have included much more of the initial designs. I would love to hear or read a much longer interview with Adam Reed Tucker, but i'd also love to hear more from Hepp (Villa Savoye) or Kobe (Big Ben, UN HQ, Imperial Hotel, Trevi Fountain.) Kobe has (in my opinion) taken the series to a whole new level in terms of detailing and overall style. Edited September 4, 2014 by henrysunset Quote
