I think i'm going to get 20 or 30 of those and I'm going to sell them in 3 years or so

That is the reason why they are hard to find now.

Indeed

Personally I see nothing special in that Minifigure but it seems the demand is high so it's reasonable in a couple of years they will very sought after collectables.

It's also possible the interest for them fades away as other Minifigures take its place, though. "Market" is strange :classic:

I bought 4 today at my local TRU, but one of it is additional Unicorn Girl, not Hot Dog Guy and the rest of them are the ones that I never bought yet before which are Alien, Cyclops, and Goblin.

I almost complete the whole series.

I think that tried too hard to be funny. Once I saw the name Brad Wurst, I knew it was just too much to be a legitimately funny joke. It was slightly amusing, but just not funny enough.

Good luck with your "search for the Hot Guy"

Personally I have still to figure out what makes this Minifigure so sought after but if I haven't found it yet I would search for it too in order to complete the collection :classic:

But I already purchased one from Amazon.

On my first trip to TLS, I found a Hot Dog Guy (for me) AND a Unicorn Girl (for my daughter), but I gave the UG away to a 7-year-old who was looking for her, then didn't find another.

That trip, or the next three trips!

Got a UG today, very cute, and I'm done. I don't need the whole set... and I can definitely tell you which ones are unpopular at each of my two local stores. :)

Oh, nice :classic: I'm always in a hurry these days so I read too fast and I miss few things lol

Which ones are unpopular? I'm very curious :classic:

At one local Walmart, the Goblins were unpopular. There was only carpenters and goblins. But there of the goblins were tore open and left. That was the only time I bought such packs. Who would like such great army builders behind?

Those persons are indeed very "weird"

It's one of the best army builders around. You made the right choice in getting them :classic:

Forget army builders, who would leave such good minifigures behind? Honestly, the Goblin is one of the best-designed figs I own!

Good point  and another proof of those persons "weird" Minifigures tastes :classic:

Agreed on Carpenters and Goblins - But I wouldn't inherently call them unpopular since they're so common. The rarer ones were picked up when people wanted full sets, so it would make sense that the more common ones would remain.

I would consider "unpopular" figures to be ones people have actually voiced their distaste for, and those who only get "good" figures would skip them. This would determine which figs would most likely be left behind if every figure had the same rarity. Considering that, I'd say the most unpopular figure for this series is the Lady Cyclops, and probably followed by the Sheriff, Samurai, and Disco Diva.

I hate the Lady Cyclops but my feel method failed me three times this wave. I got two of her and a second carpenter. I am arm building the samuri, goblins, and especially the Egyptian warrior.

I am fairly indifferent toward Lady Cyclops, but I make a point of collecting all the fantasy CMFs, so I got one of her. I think it would raise my opinion of her slightly if she didn't have the pink lipstick. She's a brutish blue-skinned monster, but she still wears humanlike makeup?

How they include Lady Cyclops in this series, but when I googled it for Lady Cyclops monster it doesn't show the actual myth monster.

It looks like that the Lady Cyclops does not make any sense or its just a gender swap of S9 Cyclops?

I personaly love her tongue-in-cheek design, especialy the beauty mark! And fact is colored like her man- sand blue and olive! They look really well toghether!

The Lady Cyclops has nothing to do with Greek mythology, but I think she's a hilarious design. LEGO knows exactly how silly it looks, that's why they did it. Grumpy cyclops face? Meh. Grumpy cyclops face with makeup? Silly and entertaining.

I too think their intention was to create a "silly and entertaining" look for the Minifigure. After all the whole Lego universe is about hilarious things Look at the version of the Star Wars universe from the Lego video games: so funny and entertaining.

Does anyone remember Darth Vader's inspection to the second Death Star with the "workers" Minifigures lazing around with mugs while playing with the chair?

Amazingly hilarious :classic:
