TWO2SEVEN Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 I have been wanting to get a hold of a 3300003 set to put in my town. I bid on a few on eBay, but they went higher than I wanted to pay. I decided that since the pieces were pretty common I could BrickLink the whole set for a reasonable price. Now, I am thinking that if I am going to BrickLink it anyway, I might as well move it up to mini figure scale to match my modulars. I will likely do this in LDD to put together the parts list, but I wanted to see if anyone else had done this with this particular set that might be able to offer some tips. Thanks in advance! Quote

L@go Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Yes, it's a very nice little set and it's pretty easy to transform into minifig scale because it's so square. I see a couple of posters already linked to my attempt at this - it's a bit different than the original set in that it's a corner building, but apart from that I was definitely quite heavily inspired by 3300003. Good luck with your project - make sure to post some pictures when you're done! Quote

Your's is a pretty impressive build, I don't know that mine will be that cool :) Edited August 28, 2014 by TWO2SEVEN Quote
L@go Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Bah, don't be so modest :) Looking forward to the results! Quote
TWO2SEVEN Posted August 29, 2014 Author Posted August 29, 2014 So I decided to BrickLink the original set. The only thing I am having trouble finding is the LEGO sticker for the sign. Two stores have them, but they are over seas. I got it done in four BL orders, with two of them having the majority of the parts. I am looking forward to building this one without paying the eBay prices :) Quote
VintageLegoEra Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Very nice looking store...I really want one for my City...:-) Quote
