TWO2SEVEN Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Last week I went to my parents house and got all of my old Lego sets. I had the foresight to organize very well before I stopped collecting. These sets are all from the late 80s and early 90s. Most of them are complete with instructions and boxes. There are also a bunch of old Lego Magazines in an envelope. Many of the sets are Wild West, as that is the last theme I collected before going in to my dark age :) I will be doing some building as time permits. Here is the list of WW sets: 6769-1 Fort Legoredo 1996 687 Western 6765-1 Gold City Junction 1996 350 Western 6761-1 Bandit's Secret Hide-Out 1996 250 Western 6755-1 Sheriff's Lock-Up 1996 176 Western 6799-1 Showdown Canyon 1997 75 Western 6712-1 Sheriff's Showdown 1996 28 Western 6791-1 Bandit's Wheelgun 1997 21 Western 6716-1 Covered Wagon 1996 64 Western For now, here are some pictures.
Kliq Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Western. The quality of sets was great. Just look at all of the detail in the construction of each of the buildings/fortifcations. Also, the minifigures were awesome. 6765 Gold City Junction is still one of my favorite LEGO sets of all time.
Trunkbass Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 I love those sets! I got exactly the same as you, except for the one with the bank building. The mine was my absolute favorite, I could play with it for hours. What a great set!
TWO2SEVEN Posted August 26, 2014 Author Posted August 26, 2014 I really like the unique base plates that came with these. I think I may start rebuilding the fort tonight :)
Alfadas Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 I am sooo jealous! Wasn't born in time for the Western sets (and my mom would probably prohibit them, they are too violent bla bla bla) but I would have loved them. Now I think I will probably buy them some time on BL. They are sooo cool.
Ecclesiastes Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 I'm closing this topic as you're already showing your collection here: http://www.eurobrick...2#entry1981646. There's no need for a double post!
