Barduck Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Actually, this should be read as: My Own Copy. Some time ago I found this model by Michael Gale in his Flickr account: https://www.flickr.c...le/11256437495/ There is only problem with it, the dark green parts are non excisting so if I wanted to build something like it I would have to take another color. I went for red and am planning to build it in yellow aswell. There's some things that I couldn't figure out how he did it from only one render so I had to find my own solutions to try and build it as close I could to his design, which is, really beautifull, hence the reason to copy it. 80 ton Covered Hopper Wagon by Barduck12, on Flickr Quote
grum64 Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Read the title & thought it was an 80 ton LEGO model Quote
michaelgale Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 As I said before: nicely done! I will have to build my own version in regular green which is close enough to the prototype since it's livery varied quite a bit. Some clever solutions you worked out--probably better than the original! Quote
Barduck Posted August 26, 2014 Author Posted August 26, 2014 nice to hear you find my solutions good Quote
patje Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 nice work, nice solution with the yellow wheel axles Quote
cgarison Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Superb detail with the valves and the rails on the ends of the hopper. The curve on the ends has a nice look as well. Very Nice Build. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Nicely done! I like the details under the wagon ...beautiful work! Quote
