Mr Greeble Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 I can't be the only one wondering what power bricks are, right? Quote
Fritzy Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 A new video was released with some interesting information. http://www.lego.com/...ts/secret-intel Transformed civilians, huh? Interesting notion! Quote
BrickBuilder3213 Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 I wish I could watch the video. :c Does anyone have any way to upload it to Youtube so everyone can watch it? Quote
8BrickMario Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Mind=Blown. Thank god it wasn't the freaking moonstones. AntiMatter portals make more sense, since it makes the story self-contained. According to this, then Tremor was indeed Louis Lightweight, Infearno was a firefighter, and it's all but confirmed that Toxikita was a big environmentalist (how else would she have access to the boat, and why would she corrupt an environmental symbol if she wasn't one?) Terabyte probably worked at the Apple Store. Quote
Dr.Cogg Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 (edited) Here What I imagine the villains were before they transformed: #1 Toxikita / geeky ,environmentalist girl #2 Tremor / F.E.M.A. agent #3 Terabyte / Software secruity #4 Psyclone / meteorologist and Pilot #5 Toxikita's henchmen / a bum and a Hobo( with Helicopter pilots license) #6 Inferno / Fire fighter #7 Spyclops / Bug exterminator #8 Invisible / a streaker #9 Drillex / a Miner #10 AntiMatter / Former Leader of the Agents or Alpha Team Edited October 4, 2014 by Dr.Cogg Quote
8BrickMario Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Tremor was confirmed to be a boxer. Spyclops is definitely an exterminator. Drillex is probably a miner, and Invizable...well, I can't think of a better explanation than yours! Quote
Takanuinuva Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Well there goes my theory of the Villains being children of the original Agents Villains. Though Toxikita could still be the daughter of Dr. D. Zaster. She just originally chose against being evil. Quote

Infernum Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Dang, those are some great sets! Love the two midsized sets, the drill vehicle looks pretty cool, and the glider-bike looks great! Anyone else look at the black-hole dude and think Ronan? Maybe they're long-lost, evil doing twins. Quote
BrickBuilder3213 Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 (edited) Where are the photos on Flickr? .o. Edit: HOLY ****, AntiMatter is better than I thought! Edited October 4, 2014 by BrickBuilder3213 Quote
TPLSTER21 Posted October 4, 2014 Author Posted October 4, 2014 Thanks just2good! Much appreciated!! Quote
Aanchir Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 So now we get a good look at what the "app bricks" are. They ARE physical bricks, black, built into little trinkets based on the theme of each sets. It looks like you press them onto a tablet to unlock something in the game or activate some kind of in-game effect. Also, given that each "trinket" is a different shape with the "app bricks" spaced differently, I'm guessing that they're all the same design and their relative positions are what allows the game to interpret which set you're using. None of the sets really cry out to me to buy them (good thing, too, since BIONICLE and Ninjago are going to keep me so busy next year), but there are some lovely designs and play features on display here, as well as some interesting new parts. Also, I get the feeling AntiMatter's head glows in the dark! Quote
8BrickMario Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 (edited) AWESOME! Spyclops looks very creepy. A much better spidery cyborg than the his predecessor. I like the metallic robot spiders, too. I laughed at Invizable's floating sunglasses and gold chain. Is he a pimp like Brick Daddy? Is the Drillex agent actually Curtis Bolt, since they have the same head? Or they could have just been lazy and given the three new males duplicate heads, since the Spyclops Agent and the Invizable Agent also appear to have the same head. AntiMatter is just about the most badass villain LEGO has made, and the hood/mask piece is very impressive. His staff is beyond cool. I can't wait to see the 4x4 someday. I'm also excited for the helmet and armor that appeared on the box art. The Power Bricks are now App Bricks, as we suspected. How they'll work is unknown, but I bet it's similar to LEGO Fusion. And judging by the gears, turning the UltraCopter's rotor does something. Or vice versa, doing something turns the rotor. This theme is certainly living up to its name, it's much more extreme than the first Agents theme! Thanks so much for the pictures! Edited October 5, 2014 by 8BrickMario Quote
Takanuinuva Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Is that a new piece I see on the Ultracopter. A technic bush like piece but with a pin hole attached to the trans blue weapon barrel? I've been wondering when we'd get a piece like that. I'm loving the new pieces on Antimatter's staff. I might have to get a pair and turn them into a new battle axe for my sigfig. Quote
8BrickMario Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 I'm still laughing about Invizable. They repeated Brick Daddy and made him the Invisible Man. I can't believe they made another pimp character. Quote
Kalhiki Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Wow! These look great! The bike that comes with Invizable is sweet with that transforming bit. Don't have much time now, so I'll write more later. Quote
Mandate Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 I spy with my little eye, is that a transparent mask on Antimatter!? Quote
TheBrickPal Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 (edited) AntiMatter looks very sick, and that motorcycle looks way more like a Tron lightcycle (in terms of color scheme, I love anything futuristic) than the Infearno Interception car (which is my favorite set from the current wave). Looking forward to purchasing one of these (or two, or three...). Edited October 5, 2014 by Puffle Pal26 Quote
Mandate Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Personally the Helicopter looks bad to me, but I love the motorbike and Drillex. Spyclops... eh, the lack of moving legs and that hideous face (good that it's in a cheap set though, Insectoids MOCs incoming from all sides!) are a real downside to me. Unless of course, I ever want to make some Insectoids MOCs Would be really good as some sort of "explanation", eg the Insectoids were once human Quote
sithewok Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 I love this series - they're just such fun builds. These look to continue that. Will probably pick all of these up. Quote
PenPlays Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Oh WOW! These sets look awesome! Invisable Gold Getaway is the one that stands out to me the most as I'm sure we all know by now, I'm a sucker for transforming vehicles. The App Bricks look really interesting. It's a shame that they are on their side, so we can't see the little logo thing on the side. I'm really disappointed in the Helicopter. It's good enough to get from a completionist's standpoint, but the sides of the helicopter as well as the overuse of the HERO Factory windshields is such a shame. It's a shame that Solomon Blaze doesn't have a new torso. As a plus though, the spiders are silver in the Spyclops set! Invisable Gold Getaway is the day one purchase for me! Quote
TPLSTER21 Posted October 5, 2014 Author Posted October 5, 2014 The final set pics look really, really good. Spyclops minifig looks way better than the prelim - he's very creepy looking and does have the single-eye thing going in the middle of his head so they kept the Cyclops reference. Spyclops set looks amazing for a small set and there is a lot going on there for a set in that price range. The bike set looks like tremendous value for the price point. Lot's of elements and the bike's transforming feature looks very cool. This is more of a "playset" type of set. It reminds me of Overborg Attack from last year's Ninjago wave, but this set is better. Also: Invisible Pimp FTW. Drill tank looks interesting - I think that "thing" on the top/middle of the tank is some kind of detachable drone. Would have been nice for the agent to have something to fight the tank with though...Copter looks good, but for the pricepoint of that set, it better have a ton of features and from the pics all I can see are spring loaded shooters that can extend out from the body of the copter, stud shooters on the front and the now overdone "dangling rope/grapplinghook/winch thingy" on the side. I hope that once we get more details on the set features that my concerns about that copter are invalid! Anti-matter looks boss but I wish he had a more substantial build with which to fight the copter. The app bricks are likely the same as the lego fusion bricks. Nice for them to add those in as an extra feature to all the sets. Overall, I'm really pleased with these sets aside from some minor nit picks. Spyclops set and bike set are instant buys. Copter is a buy assuming it has a decent amount of features. Drillex is a maybe. Really looking forward to seeing the Agent 4X4 set as the prelim looked really good! Quote
Cy_Bored1337 Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Antimatter's Headpiece reminds me of Ronan's headpiece. Quote
8BrickMario Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 (edited) I wonder who the blue-haired Agent is. EDIT: The holographic lens, dyed hair, and the style seem to confirm that it's Phoenix. The play features we know so far: Spyclops: Stud shooters Invizable: Transforming bike Drillex: As central bar rotates, so do each of the drills attached to it, stud shooters AntiMatter: Stud shooters, rotor gearing does something, winch Did anyone notice that Spyclops's face looks like Break Jaw? Edited October 5, 2014 by 8BrickMario Quote
Kalhiki Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Alright, opinion time. Spyclops is alright. Since I've gotten all the sets anyway, I'll pick this one up too. Invizable is easily the highlight of the wave. Insta-buy. Drillex is cool. Love the whole heavy construction machinery vibe it's got going. And the function for the drills is sure to be cool. The Helicopter is sweet, though I'm not sure how I feel about the propellers. They look kinda goofy stacked up like that. Antimatter is great (purple!), and I'm loving the trans armor on that Agent. Overall, Wave 2 is looking great. Do we know when these sets are supposed to be released? Quote
