Wasn't sure where to put this topic, so I put it here. If it belongs somewhere else, please do move it.

So I was in town the other day, and I saw there was a sale on at EB Games (video game store). I went in, checked it out, and saw a pretty cool game. I was certain the 2007 Lego sets wouldn't be out for another month or more, so I thought, eh :-/ , I guess I could spare some money, and I bought Unreal Anthology (turns out my computer isn't DVD compatible, so I returned it and got Rainbow Six 3; Raven Shield). Half price, cost me 25 bucks. That's 2 and a half Crossbow Attack sets. Anyway, that was last Sunday. Now it's Friday and I went into the local toy store, to find the new Lego sets. |-/ Damn! >:-( So, hopefully EB Games'll take the game back, and refund some money. I can't find the receipt though, but they should let me. I hope. Man I want those sets! Whenever I know the set's I've been wanting are in store, I can't wait to get my hands on them. And having no money at the moment doesn't help. :'-(

I just wanted to get that off my chest.

P.S. EB stand for Electronics Boutique, not Eurobricks. :-P

That sucks, hopefully they'll take them back. I want the crossbow attack and final joust but those are the 2 sets not yet available at LEGO stores. :( I got the catapult instead. Its pretty cool.

Well, since it's been opened, they'll probably only give you the trade-in rate for a used game, but there's never a harm in asking! A smart businessman will always put the customer first, even if it bends the rules ;-)

Good news everyone!

At EB Games they have a special system of having the opened boxes on the shelves. Then when you buy a PC game, they open the PC drawer, search through the alphabetically ordered games, take out the small bag with yours in it, take the game discs and manuel etc out of that, and put it in the case you took. I'm pretty much saying the cases were already opened. Anyway, the guy that served me last Sunday served me again today. I spent all this morning searching through bins/heaps of paper/general piles of mess for the receipt. But alas, I could not find it. :'-( I went into EB Games anyway, and saw that guy. I asked if I could return said game, without the receipt. He said he'd see what he could do, and in the end looked through the archive and found my purchase.

Well, in the end I got my 25 dollars back, and it's now sitting comfortably in my wallet, which is in turn sitting comfortably in my pocket, which in turn is sitting comfortably in my pants. Very good. Now I just need to get to Toyworld, closed tomorrow, my only hope is sometime next week for my mother to get home early and get me a ride. (I don't have my licence yet, need to get onto that.) So there is hope! And even more hope, in that I may be able to earn an extra 10 bucks tomorrow, giving me enough for the Skeleton Prison Wagon. Although Knight's Catapult Defense looks great too, and is only 20 dollars. Anyway, enough contemplating! I've told my story and am feeling much better! :-D :-D
