I would (and will) go for the MX-71 Recon Dropship #: 7692. Why? I really don't like those tracks. They are always too stiff. (I have the escavator and the Exo-Force tank.) It also has one of those annoying disc launchers. The only part not in 7692 and is in 7697 that I find especially compelling is the cockpit.

So the space sets were very disappointing, but if I have to choose here, I'll go for the Dropship.

I vote for the new castle line. Otherwise, it really depends on whether you like ground based tank-like vehicles or space crafts. I myself prefer the Recon Dropship. Although I wouldn't think of getting it, unless I had plenty of money. Being a TFOL I have a very small budget, and I am greatly regretting the purchase of Rainbow Six 3, realising the new 2007 products are available in stores.
