This is the port town of Aden's Gate.

Presently, I have quite a few of the buildings in various stages of construction.

1. The harbormaster which I already posted will be getting a slight remodel.

Nice! It looks so well-planned and defensible.

edited to add: I really like the clearly Mediterranean vibe.

Are you planning on making the entire thing?

Pretty much. For now though, I am just working on everything on the left, starting at the end of the bridge over the waterfalls. I have done some prototype work on the great wall in the background as well as the temple but that is a major project I do not expect to finish for several years. I had the great tower and bridge complete at one time but wasn't satisfied with the style as I felt it was looking a bit too modern, so it all got torn down and is in the process of being rebuilt after I did some LDD planning to establish a style I was satisfied with.

This is really nice. Can I brickbuild this for you? I may, just may have the pieces needed.

EDIT: Oh crap. Except that gold dome. Don't think I have anything like that :(

That would be awesome! I'm not really satisfied with the gold dome but I was tired and couldn't find anything else that could represent it at the time which is made up of a bunch of these- 88293.jpgformed into a golden dome.

Interesting looking plan.. Cant wait to see your next builds! I really liked your previous harbor moc.

Thanks!

I may still try it if you don't mind me improvising some!

I don't mind. You might even give me an idea I could incorporate into the minifig scale build...

This is awesome!! I got a LDD micro of Stedor as well but it is not up2date anymore :)

I really like your plans you have with Aden's Gate :)

Great microbuild, cant wait to see more.

Are you planning on building all of It. Would love to see that

Very nice "overview shot", I hope we get to see it all in minifig scale! :classic:

That city part to the left is just  . Hope to see it in ABS and even better in minifig scale!

Excellent micro scale build  It's nice to see what your plan for Aden's Gate looks like, it will be an impressive layout!

Thanks guys! Hopefully it won't be too much longer before I get Building 1 through 10 done in minifig scale. Once I get that part done I think I will take a break from the project for a while before working on the cliffs and fishing huts.

I really love to watch how others too throw themselves into building entire cities, it's just such a great experience. It really eats into your brick collection though.

If I extrapolate the harbourmaster to the whole of this setup... AWESOME!

I really think you created something brilliant - You combined the landscape with the cityscape perfectly!

No matter if you build each part separately or all together, this is going to be impressive.

Thanks! I designed the city to be built in attachable modules so the parts can easily be moved. As I don't think showcasing each individually will display the grandness of the citadel, I'm planning on a massive display.
