klinton Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 ...but what are the little black guys? Is there one in every pack? What's thier story? I bought one of these (Slumbo) in order to aquire his gem (for Vitruvius' staff), and while the Mixel character himself does nothing for me (outside of providing some always desirable light blue parts), this little black thing is freaking adorable! I'm just kinda wondering what thier deal is. :D Quote

I'm just kinda wondering what thier deal is. :D Those are the Nixels. I'll let the official site explain them. They're basically mischievous enemies of the Mixels, who tend to attack in swarms in order to steal the Cubits that Mixels use to combine. One Mixel from each tribe includes a Nixel. So far, Nixels appear in 41501 Vulk from the Infernites, 41503 Krader from the Cragsters, 41506 Teslo from the Electroids, 41509 Slumbo from the Frosticons, 41512 Chomly from the Fang Gang, 41517 Balk from the Flexers, 41519 Glurt from the Glorp Corp, 41523 Hoogi from the Spikels, and 41525 Magnifo from the Wiztastics. Even though there are nine sets that include Nixels, there are only three Nixel designs which each appear in three sets. In the cartoon shorts there is also a Nixel general, but he hasn't appeared in any sets. Edited August 19, 2014 by Aanchir Quote
