EGPFGLA Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 (edited) Hello all, New to the lego scene again. Reliving my childhood, I could not say no! There is a few thing I have changed. As I see this as a model I have painted the wheels to be the same uniformed colour. Same with the lights. I have also added two extra fog lights to reassemble the 'cooper' look. What I have done: Added fog lights Painted wheels and lights Dropped down the bonnet (hood) and continued the white strip to the window Changed engine (not pictured) Added a white (cheese slice) to brighten side repeater Added a black parcel shelf Changed the rear lights Painted exhaust pipe Added 1x1 silver studs to the back of the front indicators Added boot(trunk) Handel Now the pictures....... You can see the difference in colour just by adding a sliver 1x1 stud behind the indicator Edited August 16, 2014 by EGPFGLA Quote
Jonsson Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 (edited) Hello and welcome to the forum! I really like the handle for the boot - would have done the same if i had one more minfig-skate.. :) Also like the changed taillights - i made a similar mod that I posted a couple of days ago. However - since I consider myself a purist, the cutting of pieces, custom paintwork (and glueing?) does not get my up-vote. But the good thing is that everyone is free to do as they please! :) Happy building! Edited August 16, 2014 by Jonsson Quote

I didn't think that part with the cutting and glueing would, but as I said it's more of a static model and not something I'm going to take part :) Quote
