Have you bought any of the 2014 Sets?

Only the snowmobile so far, but I do plan on getting the cargo plane. I probably won't buy any of the other 2014 sets.

The next few sets I buy will probably be the tumbler and a couple of the modular buildings.

Yeah, I have the FB, GE, and PS still in the boxes. I'll probably be picking up PC and PR in the next few months. TH is more than I want to spend, but I may get it if I find a good deal.

I'm pretty happy with with my Technic collection now, and I'll probably be focusing more on the City theme. Problem is I don't really have time to build anything right now...

As soon as I get a job I'm gonna get the pickup truck and maybe the volvo. Of course they will be both used for parts only because with the rare exception of 41999 I take parts sets.

...I've won 42020 (helicopter) in contest on Technicbricks and received 42024 (container truck) from Jan Beyer to build him some alternative model out of it. I also plan to buy 42029 (pick up truck).

I plan on buying 42028. I swear that TLG every once and a while puts out a set not necessarily for the sets value, but its part value. I think this one of those times. This set, at only 50$ and I think aroung 600 parts (too laxy to look up) is truly a bargain. Especially b/c it comes with many track elements

I needed a couple 2L liftarms in black, and there are three in 42026, so I picked it up rather than pay too much and wait too long for BL or BNP.

Call me shocked, but what a fantastic little build! 12 panels make for a very smooth little car, and I'm not ashamed to admit that I was sliding it around on the carpet like a speedboat before I put on the wheels. I kind of don't want to take it a part now to get the liftarms... And I kind of want to get the rest of the $20 sets now, too, just to see how cool they are.

Not me (at least not yet) ... I was a bit disappointed that the 1H sets were not available in the US (until late) ... and now, the 'waow' factor is gone ... that white airplane and the wheel loader do not look that appealing anymore. I may buy the UCS Tumbler though. When is it coming out? I hope we do not see a 41999 remake (people stocking them for late resale).

I live in the US as well and it was a big letdown to not see hardly any 1H sets, but once they came out the local TRU's in my area had them all. I don't think on the whole it was a bad year (1H and 2H), I got the 42023, 42024, 42025, 42027, 42028, 42029, and 42030. I am still split on whether I like the 42030 as good as the 8265 Loader from 2009. There are good and bad points. Personally I think the 8265 was designed a bit better, but I sold all but 1 of the 6 I had in my store. I had 1 built in 2009 and thought it was great with PF elements, just no RC. Have yet to actually build the 42030, but once I do, I will compare against the 8265. Also, like the b model of the 42030, just don't like the fact that the dumper bed is so barren...

Hi I just started my collection again so this year , I got 2 x #42024 Container Truck (was on a good deal) , 1 x #42030 VOLVO L350F Wheel Loader.

I also got 1 X #42000 Grand Prix Racer ,#42009 Mobile Crane MK II,#42008 Service Truck, 1 x 9398 4X4 Crawler.

Hoep to get #42029 Customized Pick Up Truck when I have some money again ,trying to build up my parts collections .
