I started becoming an AFOL early this year when I was helping my 6 year son build his Lego sets. I did not undergo a dark age since I did not have Lego when I was a kid due to family financial situation. But since becoming an AFOL, I managed to accumulate 100+ sets in a short period of time, which is quite scary. So I started to track my purchases in a spreadsheet to hopefully manage my (impulse) purchases. This is hard to do since there are new sets and even old sets that I really like. I have narrowed my interest to the following themes:

1) Lego Ideas

2) Modular Buildings

3) Master Builder Academy

4) Lord of the Rings and Hobbit (our family love the movies)

5) Friends

6) Castle

I have been reading the posts in the forum for a few months now and love seeing the Mocs and set reviews. I would like to be more engaged in the forum.
