CrazyDalton777 Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I went to a market town today and looked in one of many charity shops as I thought "never know, could find some LEGO" and after the 5th Shop, I found some. I bought 3 LEGO borad games and paid £3.95 for Race 3000, £3.95 for Pirate Code and £2.95 for Magikus. I have no experience with LEGO board games so are they worth keeping as sets or bets for pieces? Sir Brickalot Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I'd open them if I were you. They are great parts packs, and for that price they are awesome! Can I ask which charity shop you got them from, and were there any more? Quote
Godtshep Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I would open it, unless you want to do some serious long-term investing. Quote
CrazyDalton777 Posted August 5, 2014 Author Posted August 5, 2014 I just played Race 3000, its a pretty good game. I am going on to Magikas now and might play the other. If I don't like the game I might use the parts as they have owls, bats skeleton heads and wands. Quote

Can I ask which charity shop you got them from, and were there any more? I bought them in Abergavenny in a shop called the Blue Cross. There were many many more charity shops, none of which had LEGO in them but on another day you might find them. They didn't have any more because if they did I would have bought them but LEGO is starting to get rarer and rarer in charity shops because a few years ago you could find loads more in charity shops and shops that sell "rubbish" but people seem less likely to give the stuff away and sell them instead.
