I'm not sure what LFC are thinking of. They've had to sell Suarez and now they're signing another a talented, but deeply flawed player. This isn't going to end well, but at least we've all got front row seats to the train wreck.

I don't know, 16m could be a good deal; he is a reliable goal scorer after all. Rogers is a good manager and I reckon if anyone can get the best out of him then Rogers can. Liverpool have spent $190 million in the offseason on transfers. It's a shame they didn't think of defense when they built the team. Exciting going forward, but dear God they're going to ship a lot of goals (again)....

First of all, when you try to talk about real football in America, you have to call it 'soccer'. Second of all, when I bring up 'soccer' just about everyone says they are a Manchester United Fan. Why? That's the only real football team that they've ever heard of. The only thing worse is when I'm talking football with a real fan and someone comes up and starts talking about how their eight year old daughter plays soccer.

So, anytime Man U loses....... its a good thing. If they played ISIL, I'd cheer for ISIL.

Balotelli's going for £10.0 on FFL at the moment, which seems a bit high to me given that more reliable strikers are priced at only a little more than him, and sometimes a little less. I don't think he'll be a transfer target of mine anytime soon...

I'm watching my third match of the day. Rough start for Everton, to say the least. My Saturday consists of a vente coffee mocha and a scone at 7am at Starbucks, home by 730am and then three matches. Done by about 230, hit the outdoor spa with a beer and then out for dinner.

Ah, football season. What a wonderful time!
