I will be building for display with the GFLUG town layout in a final expansion of their Downtown Tampa diorama to the north. To show the midway progress, I created a video for you guys. Modelmaker Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Wow that is huge. Great work. Have you tried using bing maps (birds eye view) for better pics of the real building? They use helicopter shots from all 4 sides and are usually better detail than google maps. BTW the "the glass on top off the little bit off steel on the end off the building" is a parapet wall. Quote
Roger_Smith Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 BREAKING NEWS!!! BREAKING NEWS!!! A rogue space-droid appeared on top of a Tampa skyscraper today. The droid, described as a 'beeping can' by experts, decapitated two local patrons before throwing their heads into shallow water pools. Right now, he's guarding his victims, propably waiting for more gullible citizens to appear. Police have cleared the area. Just kidding Brilliant work, looks very impressive and realistic. I like the dynamics in the facade, looks very interesting. Quote

Great work and I can't wait to see this when it hits the layout. I guess that will be when I catch up with GFLUG next summer at BrickFair VA.
