It would be really cool! I'm a big James Bond fan. But it's very unlikely to happen... Too much violence...

But what would be even more unlikly is that they will make their first set the Living Daylights! :-D They'll probably go for Casino Royale or Bond 22... But I like your idea! ;-)

Some of my Ideas:

Casino Royale poker game

EUR 15,00

Contains all poker Players, dealer and poker table

Casino Royale Aston Martin Crash scene:

EUR 35,00

Contains: A road plate, Aston Martin with the blow-up mechanism from the western line, Vesper, James Bond, Le Chiffre and henchmen.

Die Another Day Fencing scene:

EUR 20,00

Contains: Cutlasses and Swords, Gustav Graves, Bond, Miss frost and some other stuff...

My goodness....there have been a whole bunch of "What if Lego did this" threads.

James Bond: Nice, but probably not going to happen. :-( .

I really like your idea Loco de Lego. I am also a James Bond fan and think a JB theme would be very awesome. I can see TLC taking some ideas from the Aqua Raiders and creating the under water scene from Thunderball. Plus I would *wub* to see a Lego model of the Vulcan. This theme would be very *sweet* . Maybe if enough of us AFOL's mention this, Lego will create this type of theme in the future. I definitly give you two *y* up for this idea.

BIG what if.James Bond is known for 3 things:violence, booz, and women. If they made this theme I'm not sure I'd support the theme.

Bond, eh? Sounds interesting. But I don't think Lego would go for it, it's not really for kiddies now is it? :-/

Well I saw my first bond movie when I was 6 years old.

But i'm supporting your 007 ideas!

Yeah, I think I did too.

It'd be really good to see all the Bond-cars and the like. In fact...

Yeah, you're right. The sets would be nice (Q's lab *wub* ) but those three things might give lego some greif. Even if they left out the booz and women.

Here's an idea from Goldfinger.

Epidermal Suffocation: Little hotel room scene, with a Lego bed and a chrome gold figure (Jill Masterson) laying in it... $10 ;-)

Set: SPECTRE secret rocket base, built Batman Batcave style (no actual volcano folks! ;-) ) - $150 - $200 AUD around 500 - 800 Pieces

Details: Basic Framework of the Rocket Launchpad observation towers, observation booths, sky boxes, map of the Earth, control stations, monorail (was it a monorail?) track and monorail cars, several smaller cars/forklifts etc... and of course! The Soviet Rocket!

Minifigs: James Bond, Ernst Stavro Blofeld, Tiger Tanaka, some of Tanaka's troops (4 - 6), Blofeld's henchmen (4 - 6), control personnel (4), Hans (Blofeld's bodyguard). 16 - 18 figs. Maybe even some Soviet Cosmonauts?

I don't think JB will be a good lego hit.

1. only JB is the only prominent figure. No one else on the good guys' team.

2. no notable bad guys worth collecting. Most are forgettable.

3. while the generic russian soldier will be good for army building, apart from this, there is very little army building potential with the JB line.

So conclusion is that JB will be a bigger failure than Batman because:

1. in the batman series, you still want to collect alfred the butler, batman in 2 costumes, nightwing and robin

2. lots of high profile bad guys like iceman, penguin, riddler, bane, etc.

3. same - the theme is not good for any army building.

Even if I really like the JB movies, I doubt it will make cool sets for all the reasons exposed before !!

I also add one thing: it will not happen due to all the licenses that are in production for '08: Indy, SW and probably more Batman and Spongebob ;-)

Hey! Don't forget all the women he sleeps with! It would make quite a big army after some time! :-P

I think natelite is wrong in the Living Day Lights there are tones of military things and there are people on the good team other then just JB like 006, Q, M, Ali Kerim Bey,Ling,Tiger Tanaka and many more .

I'd love to see the top of the Lego box (where the minifigures are shown) that includes "Holly Goodhead," "Pussy Galore," "Plenty O'Toole," "Molly Warmflash" and "Octopussy" *wub*
