artcon Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 OK, I was in Toys R Us tonight and they gave me the Following: 76029 Iron Man vs Ultron (90 pieces) (£11.99) 76030 Hydra Avengers Showdown (220 pieces) (£19.99) 76031 The Hulkbuster Smash (248 pieces) (£29.99) 76032 Avengers Quinjet City Chase (722 pieces) (£59.99) 76038 Attack on Avengers Tower (511 pieces) (£49.99) But they are not in stock yet, so couldn't get them out for photos. They also said that this wave should be ready for the shelves for Boxing Day. (Not New Year) and if Amazon place them online early, we may even be able to pick these up on Monday. Thanks for those prices. Was expecting the Quinjet to be more expensive, so that's good news. Definitely getting that. Glad it's coming with Captain America too since I don't have him yet. Just need to get Hawkeye now. Quote
jtslimshady Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 If this is the winter wave (which hopefully it is!) then that means we could have a spring/summer wave with ant man or classic comic sets with that new goblin headpiece! Quote
TheLegoExperience Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 If this is the winter wave (which hopefully it is!) then that means we could have a spring/summer wave with ant man or classic comic sets with that new goblin headpiece! Well, we already know we're getting Ant-Man sets. Quote
jtslimshady Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Well, we already know we're getting Ant-Man sets. True True but I still hope this is the winter wave I'm going to my local Lego store this weekend so I'll ask them then. Quote
Ashnflash Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 If this is a winter wave then I'm broke! I only put aside enough money for the DC sets now not DC and MARVEL! Quote
DJ Bricks Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 I love that we are getting the film versions of Hydra, and does anyone else notice that the hawkeye here doesn't have the long jacket on? That means he must have like three costumes for the film. He is wearing his jacket http://www.ramascreen.com/avengersageofultron-here-are-images-of-hawkeyes-new-suit-for-avengers-age-of-ultron/ Quote
Scarilian Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 (edited) Well, we already know we're getting Ant-Man sets. Looking at the Ultron Officer... doesnt the helmet look familiar to a certain ant-based Superhero ;) Edited December 16, 2014 by Scarilian Quote
TheLegoExperience Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Looking at the Ultron Officer... doesnt the helmet look familiar to a certain ant-based Superhero ;) *snip* Huh, you're right! It looks eerily similar, though I don't see the gas mask part. But I bet that could be the Ant-Man helmet. Uh, can't pictures for the Ant-Man sets appear already! It's not like we just saw the AoU set pics or anything. Quote
Ashnflash Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Well of course! Ultron looks like Antman because he was created by Antman! Quote
8BrickMario Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 (edited) Did anyone notice that Black Widow's hair is identical in shape to Nurse Joker's from the LB3 Dark Knight pack? Does that mean...no, it can't. Can it? So excited! Black Widow and Hulk are definitely the highlights here, and the other characters look good too. I'm disappointed by Quicksilver's hairstyle, though. I will definitely get the new Quinjet, Hulkbuster, and Avengers Tower sets, since all of them look really well done. Jay_Em Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 On the DC section in the catalogue, it says April too but those sets are coming out in January. So maybe its April for Germany but January for us! I'm pretty sure these sets aare coming out in April, otherwise we'd have heard far more about them. Marvel wouldn't allow toys depicting scenes from the film to be released so soon anyway. Sorry... Quote
tafkatb Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Typically movie sets come out 1-2 months before the movie itself does. And since the Helicarrier is already slated for a March 1 release, it's a safe bet the AoU sets will be released around the same time. Quote
Krikkit Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Dont forget the codes 33-37 haven't been disclosed yet. Quote
Quicksilver Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Has anyone that we've gotten 3 Variations of Cap and 3 Different Motorcycles for him to ride on? Quote
Ultron Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Has anyone that we've gotten 3 Variations of Cap and 3 Different Motorcycles for him to ride on? Yeah, and this one's my favorite! Will we get pics of the figs at toy fair or something? What was that event where we got the pics of the guardians figs? I need to see the figs up close! Quote
Aethersprite Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 I love these! Definitely getting the Hulkbuster, Quinjet, and Avengers Tower. I'm a bit disappointed that the Tower is only the top portion, but at least it keeps the price down and helps me save space. So looking forward to these! Quote
Quicksilver Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Yeah, and this one's my favorite! Will we get pics of the figs at toy fair or something? What was that event where we got the pics of the guardians figs? I need to see the figs up close! The new Bike definitely is the most awesome, as I love the logos on it are cool and we actually know it'll be in the movie. I don't think we got pictures of the guardians sets from toy fair, as the Guardians sets were sets that no one was allowed to take pictures of. However the sets were released in July. Quote
jtslimshady Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Does anyone else notice the couch in the top of Avengers Tower just like the one in the trailer? Quote
Ashnflash Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Thats an odd place for a couch though. Quote

That's true for the Guardians sets, but back then at Toy Fair they hadn't been revealed yet, i.e. no one had seen the sets yet. We've already had pictures of the AoU sets, and Toy Fair is still a couple of months away! I'm pretty sure we'll be getting a better look at them at Toy Fair. Quote
Scarilian Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 All i am waiting on now is that UCS Helicarrier... which will determine what i buy in the Marvel line-up xD Quote
Saberwing40k Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I'm waiting for the Helicarrier anxiously. Also, I'm kind of bummed that the quinnjet does not have the in wing rotors as seen in the movies. (Again.) Quote

jtslimshady Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Looking back in the trailer, the mini jeep thing in the Hawkeye set looks pretty accurate. So does the tank. http://static.squarespace.com/static/51b3dc8ee4b051b96ceb10de/t/544931e3e4b00ed4519da15c/1414083048101/?format=750w Quote
