$8.99

Horseman

$3.99

The brave knight rides off to start another quest. But look out, there's a skeleton following the knight! Includes horse, knight, and skeleton.

I think your pricing is quite optimistic :-D .

Heck, in 1984 6021 cost $5.25 for 2 Knights and 2 horses. I very much doubt we'll be seeing six horses and riders for $8.99 in 2008! Also, it would seem that most of your sets are essentially minifig packs. I'm all for new sets for next year, but what do these add to the table? These sets just seem like they are trying to alocate expensive figures or elements (Dragon, King etc.) to lower price figure packs. I'm not sure if this is a direction that LEGO would want to go in.

here is my set idea

something with ogres

I want to know what's up with the ogres that we see in the ads for the new castle line. We've seen the boat which is visible in the shadows. That showed up in the TRU ads, but what about those ogres? I want to know! *sing* >:-( |-/

A battle scene around a bridge would be really nice, vahkimetru! *y*

And your Revolt set is of course a must-buy! :-D

These are all great ideas. The Revolt set sound's great, too bad there isn't a Toys'R'Us in New Zealand. :-P Although the bridge set reminds me too much of Gargoyle Bridge, which wasn't that great IMO.

What I was trying to say earlier was that they don't need extra tidbits for Castle battle packs. They could just put the figs separately if they wanted. :-)

I hope next year has the humans on the offensive, rather than hold up in their castle under siege. That way we'd get a dwarf or ogre fortress.

The revolt was a joke. TRU exclusives, save for maybe vikings, tend not to be the best...

For some reason I find it easier to picture a skellie chariot than a crownie one, though, a chariot drawn by two skelorses could be cool X-D

I think the Revolt set would be cool! Seriously, joke set or not, I still think it's neat. Also, to Shakar, in that picture, the circled group on the left could just be Crown Knight reinforcements. The ship I assume we all know about, the set with the wharf and gate and Skellie pirate (yet to be released). The one to the right of the ship I can't really make out, but it could be the King's Castle Siege set. To the right of that I can't make out. And the one at the bottom, a Viking? Or more realistically, a Crownie, with the Skellie's battle-axe for some reason. See? No more mystery. Except for the one on the far right.

Although, I could be completely wrong. The one on the right could be a dwarf army coming to battle, then an all new ship, the sail design looks to be different to the one we've seen. Then it could be a Skeleton Fortress/Castle/Stronghold? That'd be neat. Then a group of ogres? Or something? And at the bottom, a Viking. Because that's how they roll. :-D :-P

Also, regarding these graveyard set ideas; "The dark sorcery of his lightning staff lets him create Evil Skeletons and control powerful dragons..." On the description of the Wizard. He doesn't raise the dead, he creates them. With magic. Although I'd like to think he could raise the dead, like minions, weaker than summoned skeletons, but still used to bulk his forces. Or somethin' like that. :-P

I still think that stuff is new. Look at the ship, its shape is completely different that the Skeletons' Ship . The ship uses two hulls instead of one and its sails are different.

The guys from the army behind the black skellie certainly aren't Crown Knights, because they wield "oriental pikes". Crown Knights never use that type of weapon, they have spears, broad swords, halberds...the only Crown Knight who wields and "oriental pike" is the knight from Skeletons' Prison Carriage.

The guy who emerges from water wields a viking double axe, another weapon Crown Knights never use in the sets.

I read that, it's really weird. And on the quote he says "Ha ha ha ha! Rise, my skeletal legions! Obey my commands and conquer the kingdom! Edited by Shakar

The Village Invasion sounds great. That would definitely make things interesting. Personally, I think Lego will make some villagers, because it really looks like they're listening to the fans' complaints: with this new line multi coloured knights and weird swords (although they're useful for certain fantasy things) disappeared and the designs of the set, IMO, are a lot better. Plus the price to minifigs count ratio is excellent.

Skeletons' Fortress

99.99 Euro

From this dark base the Undead legion plots its plans against the kingdom! Will the brave knights sent by the King find out more about the secrets of their enemy, and, most importantly, will they manage to escape from the endless traps and perils the Skeletons' Fortress hides inside its black walls? This set features many traps, a throne room for the King of the Skeletons, a prison tower, a weapons cart for the brave knights, and more! Includes 3 skeletons, 2 black skeletons, the Skeleton Knight*, the Evil Wizard**, the King of the Skeletons***, 4 good knights**** and one horse*****.

* the guy from the Joust set, just like the one in my avatar.

** the same Dark Wizard dressed in red and black with Ogel's head we all know and love.

*** well, the guy behind everything, even more powerful then the Evil Wizard himself. He would have black arms, white hands, a dark bley torso with a skeleton emblem, a dark bley belt (the piece which attaches to the legs) with a skull printed on it, very similar to the Dark Wizard's belt, black legs with some silver or golden armour printed on it (similar to the samurai legs), a black cape (maybe with a white side) and a white staff, similar to a bone.

**** 2 soldiers with neck protector helmet, one soldier with broad brim and one knight

***** white horse with dark blue helmet and dark blue and silver barding.

You mean the white "neo skellie"'s face? Yes, of course. I apologize for forgetting that detail. :-) Oh, he would have a simple crown.

Or how about a white Viking helmet (or black, or gold) with red (or gold) horns? Give him a more Skellie feel. Although that would just look weird if you think about it. :-/
