aayla-secura Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 How long will it take you to build for example JSF with 575 pieces? Quote
SavaTheAggie Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Given 575 pieces and a MOC in mind, I could build it in minutes, less than ten. However, given a set with 575 and a set of instructions, it'll take me much longer. It took me an hour or so to assemble the BNSF locomotive. --Tony Quote

Scouty Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Well, you probably got your magazine a couple of days after it hit retail, not right when you got it. I consider my self a reasonably paced builder. Quote

Corvus Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 (edited) You guys time yourselves?! X-O That's bad! ;-) I try to enjoy it. Lego is about building; why not have fun when you're constructing your model? Edited June 4, 2007 by Mr. Mandalorian Quote
yellost Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 I even arrange the bricks withinthe model with the LEGO-logo on top looking in certain directions wherever this is appropriable.... :-| I know, I should consult our Holodoc, but I really enjoy building a brand new set very much Alleluiaah I'm not alone... It's a habit I developped not so long ago and sometimes when I think about it, I kind of worry I might become like Monk (you know, that insanely obsessed detective)... Though in my craze, I even put it further and redid all of my previous models from before I got it... :-| Quote
Asuka Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Alleluiaah I'm not alone... Ha ha, oh brother, where art thou? Well, it Quote

Brick Miner Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 i actually like wathicng TV (something i rarely do) or having a converstaion while i MOC. it helps me from getting too frustrated by imperfect designs. so, many times me and my girlfriend chat about whatever when im building... its actually quite rewarding !!! as for building anm official set, that is differenet, as im not going to get frustrated :-D . i definetiely don't time myself, and the longer i take on the build, the better... if i spend 60 USD on a set, i want to get my monies worth. so i try to take my time, i even make sure all the "lego" imprints on the top of the studs are facing the same way !!! - Brick Miner Quote
