Are you planning any mocs for 42030 Volvo?

If you are going to be getting the new 42030 Volvo Front Loader, are you going to change it? I know that some people have been talking about putting in actuators for steering instead of the servo, but what else do you want to do to it? Any different attachments?? I'm curious to see what other builders have in mind.

I will look for a way to make the hubs less open. There are several suggestions already made here, but I think the efferman designed hub covers look the best so far.

Agreed, the idea is a good one. It takes away from all the yellow, if you are not a fan of it.

Efferman also designed a complete and more realistic rim for it, looks even better.

All I'm going to do it fill in the front chassis a bit as it's quiet open. Also see will my power puller wheels fit on :)

Of course, it will be smaller and it will have more L.A.s, has to be easy because I built another wheel loader and it was smaller than I think my volvo will be.

To fit power puller tyres the front guards will have to be modded, they do fit but make contact with the bottom edge of the guard.

The gap in the front near the pivot isnt as bad in the flesh as it looks in the pics, I just added a 1x9 yellow liftarm down each side of the front section and it does improve it. What I liked less was the 5x7 LBG frame showing, so have covered that with a yellow tile.
