So I'm planning on building some MOCs for the near future but I can't seem to make good looking environments. I'm trying to build multiple environments. However, the top 3 I want to know how to build good are wastelands (like Fallout and The Road Warrior), post-apocalyptic city area, and a good forested area (including swamps and grasslands). If someone could show me pictures and give tips and information, I would really appreciate it, thanks!

Well for roads for Fallout And Apoc making the road out of (SNOT Studs not on Top) will allow you to create gaps and holes. (1 2) For shot up walls use SNOT Bricks. And then for wastelands just use tan, Dk. Tan, and Dk. Orange plates. Hope this helps.

Okay, and as for SNOT building, how much 1x1 bricks with the stud on the side do you recommend I get?

I'd recommend a lot. you might not need them all for this build, but Your next one might be bigger and require more. And for the roads I'd use these.

Okay, and I assume I'd need a lot of those pieces too in black for the roads? And since I have no experience in building roads, how would I use those pieces? I just assumed that that I'd build the road off the studs on the side of it.

Yep, and then halfway put a strip of Yellow plates and at the end put tiles, or connect them to the back of these. 4070.jpg

I'll try to make an example and post it later today.

Alright, now I understand, but an example is still good. I think I may use tiles for it so it looks "cleaner" and because a lot of other MOCs seem to do that too.

Dk. Orange, Dk. Tan, Reddish Brown, Dk. Brown. Med. Dk. Flesh.

Okay, are there any examples of buildings in MOCs using those bricks for buildings and other structures floating around on the internet?
