john cleese Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 It's not really topical anymore they stopped making new episodes so even though this is a great idea TLG would see it as a waste of money and effort. Quote

The Kid Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 they stopped making new episodes Series 5 is slated for a '08 release. Plus a Futurama movie, Bender's Big Score, is coming out sometime later this year. :-) TK Quote
Norrington Posted June 4, 2007 Author Posted June 4, 2007 Robo-pack.Includes Bender, Flexo, Stabbicus, bartender robot, Robot Devil (gag piece?) another robot, and bar. Bender's gone to re-fuel, and meets up with some robo-friends. Nibbler's house. Includes Nibbler, Leela, Fry, Nibbler's dog(?)-house, Nibbler food and dark matter (gag piece?). Erm... it's Nibbler! Well, there's my attempt. :-/ Stabbicus? You mean the bank-robbing robot that likes to stab things? His name is Roberto. Not sure about the Nibler's house, but here is a potential set idea: Planet Eternium (Nibler's home planet) $10.00 #3011 ---------------------------- Comes with Nibler, Fry/Leela (they both visit Eternium, but at different times), Niblonian leaders (with chairs), raw dripping hams, and Niblonian Obilisk Series 5 is slated for a '08 release. Norrington Posted June 5, 2007 Author Posted June 5, 2007 Another set idea is the episode where Bender turns human ands get really really really really obese... :-X *shudders at the memory* What a coincidence! I was just watching that episode on DVD! I was thinking on how to make it a set, but I wasn't very sure. But Maybe the Leela Wiz of Oz parody would work some how... or even the video game would work in some way. Quote
Izzy Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 *y* I'd definatley by the set with the Pizza Place Fry worked at. Quote
iamded Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 (edited) Stabbicus? You mean the bank-robbing robot that likes to stab things? His name is Roberto. Not sure about the Nibler's house Oh. :-$ I forgot his name, and thought Stabbicus was cool. :-P And by Nibbler's house I mean his little kennel thing. Only a small set, to add Nibbler to you Planet Express base. Edited June 5, 2007 by iamded Quote
Izzy Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 I thought Stabbicus was very inventive, if not a little weird. What about a benders house set.... that Fry shared (or rather squished) with him for ages till Bender told him about the "cupboard" AHAHA!!! :-D that was classic and not even a little bit unfunny. RaptorAce13 Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 It would be interesting but I'd say if Lego has'nt made Simpsons they aren't gonna make Futurama. Quote
iamded Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 It would be interesting but I'd say if Lego has'nt made Simpsons they aren't gonna make Futurama. You know, that's exactly what I was thinking. :-D Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Centeral Beraucracy$10.00 #3013 ------------------------------- Includes Jamican-shirt Hermes, female Beraucrat (I forget her name), #1 Beraucrat, 2 beraucrats, Bender (with vacant eyes), and message tubes Her names Morgan, i think. I don't want to anger the mods so how about we put some simpsons ideas in this tread? Quote
vahkimetru Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 We need a Richard Nixon and Al Gore MF for this series. :-P I would not see LEGO undertaking a license like this. It's not really kid appropriette... Not that LEGO cares anyways. Quote
Norrington Posted June 10, 2007 Author Posted June 10, 2007 We need a Richard Nixon and Al Gore MF for this series. :-P I would not see LEGO undertaking a license like this. It's not really kid appropriette... Not that LEGO cares anyways. The Al Gore and Richard Nixon's head were allready listed, check back. Also, I should point out that they kept the show pretty clean, and most on the "innapropriate" bits were words, and since Lego Figs can't talk, no problem :-P Quote
vahkimetru Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 What about Bender fueling up on beer? I'm not trying to act like an overpprotective parent, just worried about LEGO's reputation. Quote
Norrington Posted June 10, 2007 Author Posted June 10, 2007 What about Bender fueling up on beer? I'm not trying to act like an overpprotective parent, just worried about LEGO's reputation. Hows about this: They include beer bottles with Bender, but the printing on the bottles say: Root Beer Quote
Starwars4J Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Hows about this: They include beer bottles with Bender, but the printing on the bottles say: Root Beer That would kill me a bit inside. There's no chance of them doing Futurama, so it's not much of an issue though :-P I figured this was just a creative-thinking thread, and not so much ideas for them REALLY doing this. Anyway, if they were to do it (:-D) they'd just leave the beer out of it altogether Now a snu-snu set would be harder to work around X-D Quote
Norrington Posted June 10, 2007 Author Posted June 10, 2007 Now a snu-snu set would be harder to work around X-D Well, we'ed get new skeletons "With broken pelvises" X-D Quote
iamded Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Now a snu-snu set would be harder to work around X-D Yeah, think of all the giant women they'd have to design. X-D :-P Quote
