grum64 Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Fantastic build with so much detail, the aquarium is brilliant. Great work Quote
CityBuilder Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Wow, I really like that entry! I just hope nobody breaks the glass on the auquarium... Quote
TheBear Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 That staircase is just amazing, the whole thing is perfect. I'm looking forward to seeing the completed build. Quote
kinggregus Posted August 28, 2014 Author Posted August 28, 2014 (edited) Very good building kinggregus. Without roof is good and the aquarium is very nice with all the fishes. Nothing beats a shark in a casino. Thanks a lot! I am really glad you support the idea not to have a roof! Very nice! The interior looks appropriately flashy for a casino and the shark tank is a great idea! Casino have indeed this advantage of not being boring!!!! Very nicely done! I love all of the details here. You don't see casinos very often. I've walked through a casino once, but I don't remember what it looked like. Keep up the great work! Well, as Superfunk said.. they are flashy! Interestingly a casino would typically not have windows or clocks so you do not see what time it is. Fantastic build with so much detail, the aquarium is brilliant. Great work Thanks. The aquarium grew a lot in size as the project was advancing. Initially, I was going for a small one but figured that it'd better be impressive. I had made therefore some bricklink orders to have it completed. Nice details! The stair case is sweet! Glad you like the stair case. It took me many attempts to have the color and structure right. As the angles go in multiple directions, it was challenging to have a solid build. Wow, I really like that entry! I just hope nobody breaks the glass on the auquarium... So do I :) I have a secret though, there is no real water behind the glass. That staircase is just amazing, the whole thing is perfect. I'm looking forward to seeing the completed build. Thanks a lot for your comment. At my rhythm, it will take a long time to complete the build! I plan on doing the back section next, which will include the cashier. Afterwards, I intend to build the first floor which should include a restaurant. I will then complete the build by what may be the most important feature: the facade. At this stage, I have no idea how each sections will be designed. Wow, that looks great! Thanks Two2Seven. I think you are fairly new to this forum. So welcome!!! Colossus Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Brilliant! Beautiful details blow this build out of the water! Speaking of which, having a floor to ceiling aquarium filled with sharks is a really cool idea! Quote
beeman101 Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Put this on Lego ideas !! Then we can maybe get to build this modular too......Great Build & idea ! Quote
Kristel Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 This great! The shark tank is definitely my favourite detail, but I also like how you've done the staircase and the water feature on either side. Quote
Blue Wren Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 The aquarium and staircase are my favourite parts. I also like how you've used female minifigures dressed in gowns - this casino looks like somewhere you'd go for a special occasion. Quote
Loves Houses Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I like the grand feeling of the stairs. Yeah, thats a casino! How did you get the arches holding the shells left and right from the shark window fixed? Whats between them? Could you share a detail picture? Quote
